About

Driving guitar solos and throbbing rhythms make up the heavy metal produced by Orlando-based metalcore outfit Trivium. Since their start in 2000, the four-member band has sold more than a million albums and toured alongside other big-ticket metal acts like Iron Maiden, As I Lay Dying and GWAR.

Their most recent effort, “Vengeance Falls,” surfaced in October 2013 and landed at No. 15 on The Billboard 200, as well as in the Top 10 on Japanese and Australian album charts. Along with a discography of six full-length records and a healthy U.S. tour history, Trivium has also handled concerts throughout Europe, Japan and Australia.

For the 2006 collection “The Crusade,” Trivium frontman Matt Heafy took a slight departure from his metalcore scream to deliver more traditional singing vocals that some compared to Metallica. That album debuted at No. 25 on The Billboard 200, and Heafy went back to his signature scream for the follow-up, 2008’s “Shogun,” and subsequent releases.

Seeing Trivium and Bullet for my Valentine proform Ascendency and The Poison front to back was an unbelievable experience. August Burns Red and Bleed from within killed the opening. Matt Heafy vocals have come so far since 2005, he nailed every moment. If you have a chance to catch this tour but haven't got tickets yet, what are you waiting for??

Bleed From.Witbin did an excellent job setting the tone. August Burns Red had an incredible follow up performance. Bullet was amazing. But Trivium?! THEY ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED!!! I will go see them again and again every chance I get.

  • Trivium Never Disappoints

by Bellzy on 2025-05-07Great Canadian Toronto - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Trivium is one of the best live bands ever! They sound exactly like they do on their records and bring the energy every time! It was a nice bonus they played Ascendancy in full for the anniversary! However the venue is cheap, especially the seating area, and most staff were not familiar with seating or FAQ’s. Some were unwilling to help. However there was a kind employee who helped us to our seats and made sure we enjoyed the show. Trivium is fantastic regardless where they play, but hopefully they play at a different venue the next time.

I’ve seen Trivium six times now, and somehow they just get better and better. Incredibly entertaining show, and genuinely great people. Would always recommend a Trivium show!

Been waiting a long time to see BFMV, I was not disappointed. Great show, great presence and atmosphere. Looking forward to the next one. They should have been headliner.

  • Killer bands, terrible venue

by Sean on 2025-05-07Great Canadian Toronto - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Didn’t get a chance to watch August Burns Red, walked in during their last song. Trivium and bullet Absolutely killed it. The venue had absolutely terrible sound. Not a good place to book Veteran Metal bands like this.
