    Fantastic Show

by JeffP on 2009-09-27Sound Academy - Toronto

Overall it was an amazing show!! This is the third time I've seen COB, but it was the first time they were the headliner. They played a lot of their older songs, which are their better songs in my opinion! They put on a pretty wild show! The only thing I wish that they had some different was that they didn't do their usualy "guitar vs. keyboard" solo battle... I've seen that once before, and I wish they had done it again! A+ performance though and I'd still recommend them to anyone who loves a good metal show!

    Hate Crew Assemble!

by Thespen on 2009-09-27Sound Academy - Toronto

Bodom brought energy and power with this mostly classic set list. The sound was crisp and clean very well mixed and while Laiho did play a little sloppily as usual the excellent keyboard covered up his mistakes for the most part. It was an amazing night not to be forgotten. The opening acts were Skeletonwitch and the Black Dahlia Murder. Skeletonwitch was an entertaining act with with hilarious vocals and good guitar though the EQ could have used a tweaking as it sounded a little muffled. The Black Dahlia Murder was rubbish, a not so energetic front man with bad and misplaced vocals spoiled what could have been an alright band, definitely the low point of the experience.

    Skilled out of their minds

    by GForce23 on 2009-09-27Sound Academy - Toronto

Its uncommon to see the lead guitar sing and shred with such accuracy. They also had many guitar and keyboard dual solos which were stunning. Overall it was definitely worth going to see.

    Great show

by KeeperOfSolitude on 2009-09-26Elements Night Club - Kitchener

The best performance by Children Of Bodom I've seen yet. Skeletonwitch and The Black Dahlia Murder were great as well. Big names don't often play in Kitchener, so it was good they came.

    SWEET!

by Kibs on 2009-09-26Elements Night Club - Kitchener

Children of Bodom's concet was amazing for a first timer. The opening bands Skeletonwitch was okay, but the Black Delila Murder wasn't. Bodom came on third and stole the show with amazing guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, and Alexi's incredible singing. Their first show in Kitchener rocked! Come back soon guys!

Children of Bodom took the show!

by Kennie on 2009-09-26Elements Night Club - Kitchener

As soon as they got onstage, everyone went wild. I had to CRAWL out of the pit because it was just too crazy, even for me. I'm a huge fan of their live performances, since they always interact with the audience and each other instead of just headbang like most metal bands. This performance was special to me, since they noticed me screaming all their lyrics and jamming to all their riffs. They even posed for pictures for me! Overall, this was the best concert I've ever been to.

    cheers of bodem all night

by twistedmind on 2009-09-26Elements Night Club - Kitchener

O.k. from the shouts of bodem in the streets of kitchener to the start of the concert it was obbvious that the crowd where there for one reason to rock hard with the band from finland. The place was electric from the time they open the show with the opening band skelton witch, than to black dhalla murder ,to the main act children of BODEM .You could tell that each band in their own way had the crowd in the pawn of their hands ,it was loud, the mosh pit was jumpin all night, and the bands rocked the house.
