CHRIS TUCKER IN CONCERT:

Beloved funnyman Chris Tucker continues to keep audiences in stitches with his on-screen roles and hilarious stand-up act. Tucker keeps it classy at his live shows, treating audiences to family-friendly anecdotes from his time on the set of beloved films like Friday and Rush Hour before turning to current events and pop culture. Whether he's impersonating his grandmother or his late friend Michael Jackson, Tucker's razor-sharp wit and impeccable comic timing make for an unforgettable night of laughs on his must-see tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Atlanta-born Chris Tucker attended high school in Decatur before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of becoming an entertainer. By age 20 he was a regular performer on the Def Comedy Jam, and in 1995 he got his breakout film role in the stoner comedy Friday starring alongside rapper Ice Cube. More silver screen success followed in 1997 with his critically acclaimed role in The Fifth Element, where he played a hilarious reality television host from the future. In 1998 he starred in the first of three movies in the Rush Hour film series, earning $25 million for his appearance in 2007's Rush Hour 3 -- the highest salary of any Hollywood actor at the time. A beloved stand-up comedian with a knack for impersonations and an insider's knowledge of Hollywood power circles, Tucker continues to crack audiences up on his hilarious tours.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Chris Tucker was too funny. I would recommend that everyone go and see his show. He had me in stitches. It's such an excellent show. "

"Chris Tucker was everything we hoped he'd be. He told a lot of personal stories - my favorite being his advice from his Grandpa on marriage. He then showed his singing skills with some more interesting tales. He is just as animated in real life as he is on film."

"My husband and I laughed the entire show. He did great impersonations and did the entire show without using a ton of vulgar language. This man has class and style. A true professional entertainer."

    Chris Tucker was amazing !!!

by RoRo87 on 2013-11-12Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The opening act was great and completely unexpected as i have never heard of him previously. Chris made you feel like you were at a Michael Jackson concert and comedy show at the same time. His ability to imitate many people is unbelievable. Over all it was a show I will never forget! My only complaint is that the seating in the sony centre along with most other theatres / performing art centres is too tight, not enough space to sit comfortable why trying to enjoy a show.

    Ridiculously Hilarious

by Dreamer1893 on 2013-11-12Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Chris Tucker is beyond hilarious, not a single person in that room was not laughing at any moment since he was just too funny. He may have done some jokes that he did at the BET awards or other shows he has done, but they are still so funny. I like how he uses his life examples, instead of making things up or telling stories that happened to his friends. Thats what makes him even funnier because you know he went through what he is saying or experienced at that event. He made jokes about Friday, Rush Hour, his family, and even Mc Ds! If you haven't seen him you must, I am definitely going again when he comes to town. This was my first time a comedy show as I have only gone to music concerts, so I wasn't sure if I should spend money on this, but I figured its Chris Tucker so I mine as well and I was right. My money was well spent and I don't regret a second of spending it. I just wish i paid more so i could go near the front and see his facial expressions because there was no screens so we couldn't see his face just his movements. His opening acts London Brown and this other guy were very funny too!

    Chris Tucker live doesn't disappoint!!!

by AntyPanty on 2013-11-12Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The show was hilarious, and we felt like we got our money's worth. We went to see Jerry Seinfeld the year earlier, and while the show itself was very funny, it was far too short. Chris Tucker and the two gentlemen he had on tour performing with him were very entertaining. Chris not only gave us comedy through jokes, he shared a lot of personal anecdotes about his life, his family, and his relationships with other very famous celebrities. The MC made the show feel like a variety performance, even though we all knew who we were really there to see! I loved the idea of the autograph session after, very personable, and a great way to show your fans your appreciation. More performers should consider doing the same thing! Great job, Chris!

CHRIS TUCKER WAS AMAZING! A MUST SEE SHOW!

by vanityosocurvy on 2013-11-12Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The opening acts were really funny. London Brown is definitely a new favourite of mine. Chris Tucker took the stage for about 1.5 hrs and he was hilarious. I didn't have time to smoke a joint before the show, but he had us laughing from beginning to end. I loved every minute of his act and it was well worth the money. Definitely a must see! He was very humble and drew on his times with Michael Jackson, as well as, funny moments from sets of movies he has worked on in the past.
