BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Atlanta-born Chris Tucker attended high school in Decatur before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of becoming an entertainer. By age 20 he was a regular performer on the Def Comedy Jam, and in 1995 he got his breakout film role in the stoner comedy Friday starring alongside rapper Ice Cube. More silver screen success followed in 1997 with his critically acclaimed role in The Fifth Element, where he played a hilarious reality television host from the future. In 1998 he starred in the first of three movies in the Rush Hour film series, earning $25 million for his appearance in 2007's Rush Hour 3 -- the highest salary of any Hollywood actor at the time. A beloved stand-up comedian with a knack for impersonations and an insider's knowledge of Hollywood power circles, Tucker continues to crack audiences up on his hilarious tours.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Chris Tucker was too funny. I would recommend that everyone go and see his show. He had me in stitches. It's such an excellent show. "

"Chris Tucker was everything we hoped he'd be. He told a lot of personal stories - my favorite being his advice from his Grandpa on marriage. He then showed his singing skills with some more interesting tales. He is just as animated in real life as he is on film."

"My husband and I laughed the entire show. He did great impersonations and did the entire show without using a ton of vulgar language. This man has class and style. A true professional entertainer."

    Chris Tucker was not prepared

by NickyW on 2014-05-19Casino Rama - Rama

Chris Tucker really seemed like he was not prepared for this show. He really just spoke what was on his mind at the time. Talked about his movies. Talked about how cool some celebrities were, did a few impersonations and then went into a Michael Jackson rant. Boring! Stand up comedy is no longer one of his main skills. His movies are much funnier.

    Disappointing

    by Simba1111 on 2014-05-19Casino Rama - Rama

I was so excited to see Chris tucker, I heard he was hilarious and I love him in movies. But his show was weak, his jokes dragged on too long... Wayyyy too long. And he just kept talking about movies he had been in and every time he seemed like he didn't know what to say he would say thank you for being here! Way too many times. He sang a lot which dragged on forever. . Just really really disappointing. The opening act was actually hilarious!! I would have preferred to watch him the entire show! There wasnt even a climatic time or a really funny closing joke. Waste of my money and the long late drive...

    Tucker was a fun show

    by Frank0208 on 2014-05-19Casino Rama - Rama

It was better than I expected. Tucker is really interactive with the crowd. It's a better show if you're familiar with Tucker's movie history.

    A Changed Man

by Onstage on 2013-11-14Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Chris Rock has become a mature, well mannered comic. Gone are his Def-Jam type acts. He swore maybe twice during his entire 1 hour 20 ish minutes. He was pretty funny. Talked a lot about his tax issues, his personal life, becoming a father. my personal favourite was the stories he told about hanging out with Michael Jackson. It wasn't laugh-out-loud funny the whole way through, but it was good..

The show was mostly pretty boring. Beyond a couple of good impersonataions Tuckers comedy does not flow and is not original. Rehashed material

    Chris Tucker was Awesome!!

by MBee on 2013-11-12Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

It was a great experience to see Chris live doing his standup act. He was really funny, energetic, rockin' a cool white suit and black tie, loved his dance moves ... had me laughing and smiling the whole time he was on stage. And he's a classy guy!! I respect him a lot for keeping his act clean ... not telling extreme vulgar jokes, not using over the top profanity and not resorting to hurtful, mean-spirited / bullying type of humour at the expense of others. He told jokes about people but they were never cruel. You feel like the man has a good heart and he's a great role model for our young people which is so rare these days. I had heard parts of his act before from seeing Chris on different late-night talk shows and the BET Awards etc. ... but other than that, he hit it out of the park!!!

    Chris Tucker was amazing!!!

by Anonymous on 2013-11-12Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Chris Tucker was absolutely amazing! Glad that he is back on the road doing tours. The downside of the show was not being able to see his facial expressions clearly for different jokes. Would recommend that they have large size monitor or screens that would project his image out to the broader audience.

    Meh

by KBChick on 2013-11-12Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Overall Chris Tucker's performance left something to be desired. Don't get me wrong, I laughed, but a lot of his comedy involved topics which I could not really relate to liking being rich and not paying taxes, and hanging out with celebrities. I had been told that Chris Tucker was an amazing stand-up comedian, even after becoming famous in movies, but I, unfortunately, was disappointed in his performance.
