  • Alegria was a really great show!

by MoeC on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I was impressed as always with Cirque de Soleil's shows, however I was disappointed with the floor seating. After paying a premium for floor seats, it was not possible to see all of the performances at eye level - perhaps the stage could have been raised a little higher?

  • magnificent

by zozoka on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the 3rd Cirque Du Soleil show I wached live. I love it just as much as I loved the first I've seen 5 years ago. Recommend it to everyone without age limit. This is a must you have to see.

  • FANTASTIC TRICKS, WAY TOO MUCH DEAD SPACE

    by LOV3 on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

For a two hour show, forty-five minutes of it was silly filler stuff.. clowns (great for the children, confusing for the parents who paid such high prices to see the show.) The actual tricks themselves were great, but this is by far the "laziest" Cirque de Soliel I have ever seen. The stadium was about half sold, so there were alot of level 300 down to level 100 upgrades, which always upset the original high ticket price purchasers. Overall... I recommend this show if you are bored in the city in the next few days. Don't spend the money for travel, lodging and meals, on top of ACC ticket prices just to see this show.

  • Fabulous Show

Great show. Our group of 8 all enjoyed the entertainment. The seats though, were uncomfortable.

  • Alegria was magical

by Swish on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Alegria was mystical, magical -- a true preformance of professionalism with prime entertainment. The music and singing was haunting yet peaceful complementing the acts perfectly. My husband and I used the music of Alegria for our wedding reception -- the memories from the first show were so vivid, we needed to see it again. We were not disappointed!

  • Alegria was spectacular!

by Gymmom on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Took my family to Alegria as a birthday present for my daughter. The best comment from my son who usually hates this sort of thing.... "C's birthday present ROCKED!" The only part I didn't like was the weird scene with the night sky blanket and the train. That was really weird and too long. The acrobatics were spectacular and breathtaking.

  • Alegria - Cirque Du Soleil

Amazing show. Take the kids, take the grandkids. Always an entertaining show put on by the group. Costumes add a beautiful fantasy night.

the show was very good. but if found it difficult to fully understand and enjoy because my seat was so far up. somewhat disappointing because I've been to many cirque du soleil shows. clowns were very entertaining.

  • Alegria was Gorgeous

by AlegriaLove on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Yesterday was my first time seeing Cirque de Soleil. I had been wanting to see Alegria since last summer. As soon as the lights dimmed and the joker came out, I knew I would be having an amazing time. There is no 1 word to describe Alegria. It is a bunch of artwork separated into sections through songs. The acrobats, contortionists were amazing, same with the jugglers. All I say is that, to, ALEGRA = A MAGICAL FANTASY. I recommended anyone of all different ages to see Alegria!

First act was quite slow and the last scene before the intermission was as if they wanted to stall time. The performers were quite amazing but the clown scenes in between were very long and dragged out, which caused the pace to feel extremely slow. The second act was much better. Definitely not cirque du soleil's finest. On the other hand, Totem (playing in Montreal) is out of this world, mind blowing..

  • wrong seating

by Newk on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

We were seated on the floor 5th row from the front of the stage.. The base of the show stage was atbout point.3 m above our eye level. We spent the evening trying to see the acts on the stage around the necks/heads of four rows of the persons in front of us.The view was better for the arials, which were about 30 percent of the show timeing. The costumes and choreography were excellent. We saw the top half of the performers mostly

  • Awesome Alegria

by EYoung on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Where else can an adult go and "ewww" and "ahhhh" and gasp and laugh and feel like a child again? Well, always at the Cirque du Soleil ..... where every one is a child again! Between the amazing costumes and make-up, the dizzying acrobatics and dances and music ..... there is simply nothing else like it. When the show is over and you hear comments all around you, like, "that was the best Christmas gift ever!", you just know you are at one of the world's best entertainment performances ...... bar-none!

  • what more can you ask for?

by Meowsa on 2010-07-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I can't really say anything bad about this performance of Cirque du Soleils Alegria. It was very enjoyable. If anyone says the opposite, they must not know what cirque du soleil is all about.

  • A disapointment

by Wwwww on 2010-07-02Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

My husband has always wanted to see Cirque De Soleil, so I bought him tickets for Christmas, we were both disapointed. Although some parts were very good there was too much pointless filler and confusing action.

  • Not up to recent ones but still good show

by koikesan on 2010-07-02Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I've enjoyed most of Cirque de Soleil and this one was good but I think it had too much of the fillers than actual performace
