Cirque du Soleil Ovo in Saskatoon, Sk was absolutely amazing! The performers put on a fantastic show! My first time seeing Cirque - it was worth every penny! Thank you for coming to our little city!
Not the best Cirque show I’ve ever seen. The first half was tedious but the second half was amazing!
Love Cirque du Soleil, never miss a show in my city! The skill and artistry of the performers was superb. Costumes were fantastic and the movements to mimic insects were truly amazing, always love the comedy element too. I took a visitor from Sweden and she was mesmerized by the show. Venue was okay, we had perfect seats but did prefer the big tent experience better and not having to drive downtown is always preferred but parking was okay if you park in the Milennium library at City Place and you can walk to the centre indoors so that's nicer when weather is bad. Inside the Venue its cool so need a sweater!
The final number involving the climbing wall and the trampolines was out of this world great. The bits of business to allow the stage and apparatus to be changed (the chubby woman insect and the blue man insect speaking insect language) could have been replaced with something much better. The business with the large egg being carried around and finally placed over a hole but in the end only showing a crack line was an amusing anti-climax. The traditional acrobatics involving catchers and flyers was cleverly tarted up with multiple flyers. Overall, for a travelling show (not a permanent one like in Las Vegas) it was good enough to keep my grandchildren's attention and be enjoyable.
Seeing Cirque du Soleil live for the first time in my life was MAGICAL. My inner child came out so happy after the show. Top quality acrobats and artists, I'm amazed by their work. It's a must-see!
The Athletics of the show were impressive as always. I am merely guessing here, but the comedy bits in between the feature acts are there to fill time for costume changes and technical changes. However, the attempt at comedy seems to fail. Everything else including the live music is well worth experiencing. Perhaps I should mention that I have seen five different Cirque du Soleil productions both here in Winnipeg and in Las Vegas. Thank you. Have a good day
I was terribly disappointed in this show. Very poor in every way. I felt ripped off bored and let down. I have attended performancea in South Korea and many in Canada, Ovo was unimaginative and dismal.
Great aerial acrobatics with lots of visual features. Really enjoyed it.
As always Cirque du Soleil never fails to entertain. Great story, lots of humour and exciting acrobatic displays.
Insanely skilled and talented individuals. Born to entertain with precision and expertise. The performers elicit ooooohs and aaaaahs and cheers and clapping throughout the show. Heart stopping in several instances. Thank you to everyone involved. Pure magic.
Been to many Cirqe events. This one was a not what I expected for one of their shows. Acts, music and costumes weren’t on par with other shows of theirs. Disappointed as expectations were much higher for a Cirqe show.

Everything from the coordination, to the music to the intense talent the performers showed was top class. I would 10/10 recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed the OVO Cirque du Soleil production. We took our 4 year old grandson and he was mesmerized throughout all the performances. I highly recommend this production for all ages, it is thoroughly entertaining and amazing.

It was a bit slow moving between sets and almost seemed boring. It definitely was not up to the action packed original shows that Cirque put on near their beginning to my recollection. It was a great show for kids and highly recommended for them in my opinion. The action packed grasshopper trampoline act at the end was outstanding. Some of the other high action acts were outstanding as well. Personally I wouldn’t go again but as I said it’s great for kids.
You won’t be disappointed by the program. Du Soleil knows how to make your night unforgettable.
It’s been a long time before seeing a fantastic performance like this. Strongly recommend going.
The show itself was amazing. I love watching Cirque shows. My biggest issue was with the venue. I've seen Cirque shows in Las Vegas and in the Big Top, but having it in the arena leaves something to be desired. There's constantly people getting up and walking in front of you, or people arriving late and having to ask the usher where their seats are. This could be easily rectified if they made announcements before showtime so that people would take their seats before the show starts.
My daughter and her family and I watched The World of Ovo and were all blown away. So creative, engaging and awe-inspiring. Every minute was a special memory!! Thanks Cirque du Soleil!!
