CLINT BLACK IN CONCERT:
Country superstar Clint Black knows a thing or two about penning a catchy tune – he's got more than 20 No. 1 singles under his belt, and his hit-filled live shows have the feel of a greatest hits tour. It makes him something of a maverick in a genre where many artists record music written by other songwriters. Black has spent the bulk of his career singing his own songs, and it's served him well. His penchant for witty puns and clever turns of phrase is on full display in concert – both in the lyrics of favorites like "A Better Man" and during his amusing between-song banter. With his warm baritone voice, killer harmonica playing, and catalog of clever-mouthed hits, Clint Black is a must-see for ticket buyers who like their classic country served straight-up.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Clint Patrick Black was born in New Jersey but raised in the Houston suburb of Katy, TX. He grew up playing music with his family, and by his teens he had serious chops on both the guitar and the harmonica. Black cut his teeth as a singer performing with his brothers in a family band, and he eventually dropped out of high school to play music full-time. He spent the bulk of the '80s working odd jobs while moonlighting as a country performer, and in 1989 he got his big break when RCA signed him and released his debut album Killin' Time. The record spawned five consecutive country No. 1s, making him a star overnight and earning him several Academy of Country Music Awards including Album of the Year and Top Male Vocalist. His chart run continued in the '90s with a string of Top 10 albums and chart-topping hits like "A Good Run of Bad Luck" and "Nothin' But the Taillights." Black parted ways with RCA in the early '00s and took a few years off to start a family, and in 2004 he returned with his eighth album Spend My Time, which he released on his own label Equity Music Group. Critics hailed the album as his most adventurous outing to-date, and Black has remained prolific ever since, consistently delivering both in the studio and on tour.

Very good show, Clint performed all his greatest hits.
This was an excellent show. It was so nice to see him again, he has not changed and his voice is as good as it was when he first came on the music scene. He is very entertaining and down to earth - good relationship with the audience. I would definintely go again!!
It was a fabulous show. I loved that I didn't feel blasted out of the place. I may be getting old but I find that a lot of the shows I have been to in the last few years have been way to loud. They don't need to be. This was a nice easy listening level. I was a little surprised. I understood it was an acoustic show and I expected only Clint. It was great to see the other three gentlemen join him on stage. I did expect more of his popular songs but being a big fan, I have no problem listening to some of the not so well known stuff. This was also unusual I think. All in all, it was a great show. I would highly recommend going to see Clint Black to anyone out there.
What an amazing show Because it was acoustic you could really appreciate Clint Blacks amazing voice and talent Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the show
Clint Black was very good. It was a little different then expected Did not expect the amount of old country songs- I like the new country better but his guitar and mouth organ playing was great. Very talented man
It was very amateurish. It was a total waste of money.his new songs are terrible.only enjoyed,a few songs. People were constantly walking out.from beginning to end people were leaving. That must speak volumes
He put on an awesome show. Very personal and funny.
I have been a fan of Clint's since he first hit the scene and have always dreamed of seeing him live. It exceeded my expectations and was personable and passionate during his entire performance. His genuine rapport with the audience made me feel like I was in his living room and he was singing just to me :) Bravo!!!!
Nice show. Just him and 3 band members. Pretty low key, but he is such a nice guy, he made it worthwhile.
although I was a little disappointed at first - I was expecting the whole shebang... dancers lights etc.... but you know what I think that this was even better. Clint is such a talented vocalists... does pretty good at impersonating celebraties too LOL... We all agreed that we found him to be very personable. The song selection was good - some old some new... nice mix. Clint talked to you rather than at you... great performance, would definately go again to see him. Love ya Clint - I know that you are happily married man to your beautiful soul mate Lisa xo
Clint Black and his 6 piece band delivered a great show on Sunday Night at the Club Regent Casino. Great interaction with the audience, lost of charm. Vocals are clear. A great singer that has not lost the drive to perform and the audience was in for a great show listening to his many hits.
The Clint Black's show was very entertaining, well worth the ticket price. We had front row seats and Clint is pretty easy on the eyes. He is a great musician, and well spoken.
I have been a fan of Clint Black since the first time I saw him on the Ralph Emery show in the late 80's. I own all of his c.d.'s so was hoping that he would sing all my favourite songs. I couldn't be more pleased with his playlist. His ability to play with words is one of the reasons I love his music. He gave a great mix of fast and slow songs as well as funny little stories. I attended with a friend who likes country music and she also raved about the concert. His voice is still as good as when I saw him in the early 90's. Love to see him back sometime. Definitely worth the money.
It was great they were relaxed dressed it made me feel like I was with my freind just singing away.
Although his performance isn't flashy, Clint Black put on a great show! He added quite a bit of humor to the evening and the music was fantastic!
Clint needs to move around a little more because we were sitting at table 2 and we could only see his left side and barely saw him face to face.
Started slow but grew better with every tune and was the best when interacting with the crowd
The Clint Black concert at the Club Regent Casino was a fabulous show! He really knew how to get the crowd involved and feel like he really wanted to be there to share his music and memories with us. Clint Black and his band were glowing with smiles and excitement, just as the crowd was thrilled to have them there. I think CB is a wonderful performer and has a special talent with people! I really enjoyed singing along, dancing, clapping and being apart of the lively crowd at the Clint Black concert.
I have never seen an artist so clearly in love with his music. Clint wrote or co-wrote the majority of his set and nurtured every song as if it was one of his children. The band came out and played - PERIOD. Nobody climbed to the top of the room on a ladder; nobody set themselves on fire. Country music - straight, simple and oh, so clean. Black's voice is as high and clear as it ever was. While Clint is "Killin' Time" he is having a "Good Run" of the best of luck. Thank you for the years of chart toppers on the "Left and Right". I know I left there a "Better Man".
Clint has a great voice and is a true talent!!! I grew up listening to his music and am thrilled to have seen him live! :)
