About

Comprised of Claudio Sanchez (Vocals / Guitar), Travis Stever (Guitar), Josh Eppard (Drums) and Zach Cooper (Bass), Coheed and Cambria have gripped listeners and press around the globe with their visionary compositions and conceptual mastery. In 2018, Coheed and Cambria made a stunning return with their new album THE UNHEAVENLY CREATURES, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart, #6 current sales and Top 15 on the “Billboard 200” chart. Boasting 15 songs over 78 minutes, THE UNHEAVENLY CREATURES marked Coheed and Cambria’s furious return to concept albums, the ‘First Act’ in a brand-new story arc set within the backdrop of The Amory Wars universe. The acclaimed record is highlighted by standout tracks “The Gutter,” “Unheavenly Creatures,” “The Dark Sentencer” (premiered by Marvel Studios) and “Old Flames,” the latter of which features an official music video directed by Charles “Chas” Todd. The cinematic clip features striking choreography masterminded by Broadway luminary Jon Rua who is known for his roles in the 12-time Tony nominated Spongebob Squarepants and the Tony & Grammy Award Winning hit musical Hamilton. More recently, Coheed and Cambria teamed up with GRAMMY Award-winning singer Rick Springfield for a sequel to one of the most iconic stories in rock ‘n’ roll history with “Jessie’s Girl 2” and launched their very owncoffee brand, Coheed and Cambria Coffee Roasters.

    Wow!!!!!!

by JennKilgannon on 2011-07-07Edmonton Event Center - Edmonton

It was like the most amazing thing ever. The local opening band was great, Fang Island was great, and Coheed was just amazing. There is nothing I would have changed about this concert, except maybe the moment when I got my face smashed into the barrier. It was well worth the wait, and I would suggest getting a Black Card if at all possible, getting in early ensured I got an amazing front row view the entire concert.

Coheed & Cambria - Doesn't get any better

    by MrsTheMonarch on 2011-05-16Kool Haus - Toronto - April 27, 2011

This was my 14th Coheed & Cambria show, my second favourite Coheed concert and DEFINITELY in my top 10 list of best concerts (I go to a lot). The acoustic set was amazing, I had the hugest smile on my face when it was over. Partially because it was beautiful and also because I realized that I still had another Coheed set AND that it was Second Stage Turbine Blade, my favourite album. I would be content watching this band play everyday, they always bring it. I've never walked away from one of their shows disappointed. I generally hate the Kool Haus (worst sound system ever) but I had a blast. If you've never seen this band live I urge you to go, you will not be disappointed.

    Coheed and Cambria Satisfy Everyone

by DrumDave on 2011-04-30Kool Haus - Toronto

Two very different scenes: Metal heads thrashing and bodysurfing; violently slamming into each other to the speeding riffs. A boyfriend and girlfriend pair holding hands; smiling sweetly and innocently as they sway to the romantic music. Were these two different shows? No. These scenes from the Kool Haus were proof Coheed and Cambria satisfy all mainstream music tastes while conforming to no one. Opening the evening with a 40 minute acoustic set, singer Claudio Sanchez confirmed his status as a worthy "chick gettin' music" singer. Upon returning, Claudio's Iron Maiden t-shirt made much more sense. They played their debut album The Second Stage Turbine Blade [2002] in its entirety, plus 6 encores. Not since Primus took the stage at the Kool Haus has the mosh put bounced in such unison. Chugging riffs made the crowd explode and security tried desperately to keep up with the body surfing. A number of times the audience took over vocal duties while the band just rocked. Even with the bands' amps cranked, the less than 2500 in attendance managed to belt out sufficient volume to be heard. To top it off, the guy-girl ratio was an astonishing 3:1, perhaps 4:1 at the worst. Coheed and Cambria proved themselves to be an anomaly of the music marketing industry. Comic book nerds? Metal heads? Romantics? Acoustic? Electric? Yes. To all of the above. Add "talented musicians" and you'll pretty much sum up the band.

    Memorable Coheed & Cambria

by AlyCat on 2010-10-27The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

I LOVE the band and I was so excited when I found out they were coming to Saskatoon. The show was amazing and I keep talking about it. It was the best concert I have ever been to, although I wish they played more songs!!

    Best

by Jcore on 2010-10-26The Garrick Centre - Winnipeg

Best show ever. This tour had none of the bells & whistles from the last tour (fancy lights, backup singers, toys & gadgets). Just 4 guys busting their ass on stage for nearly 2 hours.

    Edmonton loves you Coheed!

by meldridon on 2010-10-22Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Best concert ever! Opening acts were well chosen to fit with the main event, although I felt Fang Island's performance was hindered by the sound being overdriven too much. The venue wasn't big but it felt way more personal and exciting than a larger mainstream venue. There was a clear view of the band and Coheed's sound was perfectly balanced. Their set list was excellent. The crowd was into every single song played. By the end of the night I had no voice and my throat was bleeding, but it was worth it!

    Absolutely brilliant!!

by shooqi on 2010-10-21Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Coheed was fantastic. Claudio's vocals are as incredible live as on record - that man has quite a voice. I'm not a huge fan of any of Coheed & Cambria's songs after Good Apollo, and I was pretty pumped: 75% or more of the songs played were from SSTB and IKSSE3 (my two favourite CDs). Their set was incredible on the whole, and I would have reviewed this as 5 stars. . . but Wild Orchid Children were TERRIBLE. Probably the worst act I've ever seen. The venue was very classy - my first time at the Commodore. I've heard a lot of great things about that place, wasn't disappointed. If you are a Coheed fan, check them out. Claudio and Travis definitely haven't lost their stuff.

    Coheed is the bee's knees.

by starrskey on 2010-10-21Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Coheed was everything i thought they would be. I've been a huge fan since the first time i heard them and their live show was kickass. Ninjaspy also held their own considering who they were opening for. Not a fan of wild orchid children. Not a fan at all. They got booed after almost all of their songs. On the plus side, the beer line had no one in it when they were on stage so it wasn't all bad. Definitely would see coheed again.

    Coheed was lighting it up!

    by bd100 on 2010-10-20Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Third time seeing Coheed. Loved their new stuff that they played, but they brought back some older album hits and it was amazing. Crowd was really into it. As for the other bands. Ninjaspy started it off. They were great performers, high energy, got the crowd moving a bit. Wild Orchid Children played second and there wasn't too much you can say about it. They had lots of presence, but the style didn't quite communicate with me. As well, I couldn't understand a word he was yelling into the mic. Sounded a bit like Rage's lead vocalist at some points, but that's a weak comparison to make. Compared to Coheed, Wild Orchid Children are dust in the wind.

A great show! Stripped down to the four piece for this tour, losing the keyboards and backing vocalists. A much more lively Claudio. I'm glad to see he's been able to ditch the wrist guard that he had to wear on his fretting wrist last tour. A nice well rounded set, even though I would have liked to hear "Hush" live. No complaints from the set department. I can never wait to see them again...

Coheed and Cambria Rocked the Electric Factory

by Amebella on 2010-05-24The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

The venue was nice and small, an up close and almost personal concert. The sound quality was excellent. The crowd loved it. C and C were amazing just as I thought they would be. They played the perfect setlist. Circa Survive also put on a great show. Could have done without Torche though.

Coheed and Circa are a match made in heaven!

by Wylius on 2010-05-22Sound Academy - Toronto

What more could you ask from a show? Impeccable vocals, screaming guitar solos, thick heavy bass lines, and drum beats so catchy your pulse begins to match. Although not familiar with the opening band, with no ego I can say that both Circa Survive, and Coheed and Cambria put on shows that surpass their recorded material, both performance and showmanship. I hope it's not another lifetime before these guys get together to amaze fans. Thanks guys!

by SoShift on 2010-05-20Sound Academy - Toronto

Coheed and Cambria was great but the main event for me was Circa Survive <3 I would love to see Circa Survive come back. I also loved that band filling in for Torche. I missed their name and I wish I could've gotten a CD from them. =/

    God-Like

by LauraWithoutSound on 2010-05-20Sound Academy - Toronto

Circa Survive gets on and the crowd is insane, the positive energy flows and swells and even the band feels it. They play an amzing set and then Coheed gets on and life makes sense again. The guitars, the drums, the vocals, the keyboard, the hair, everything was perfect. They played more of their older stuff, and the crowd loved it. I have bruises in weird places, I can still here a ringing, my back is in major pain, my feet are numb from being crushed so much, but that was one of the best nights of my life. Amazing bands, and amazing guys. If you can see them play, DO IT!
