Colin James Tickets

Colin James just keeps getting better and better. The band was great We have converted several friends to CJ fans and its getting tougher and tougher to get pre-concert dinner reservations near the Orpheum Theater for the group ! We never miss Colin when he is in or near Vancouver. Also saw CJ last summer at the R&B festival in Winthrop WA -- more converts there now as Colin and the band was crazy great. Best band at the Festival

The concert stop start to finish blew us away ! Colin James is so good live ! His voice was soulful and bluesy combined with his signature rock style . He truly brought it !! He sang all his hits plus some new tunes and Then some 🎶. Highly recommend seeing him if you haven’t . The Orpheum was the perfect venue :)

The concert was awesome, Colin James definitely lived up to his reputation of great music and a wonderful performance. The venue was the Orpheum and normally that is a spectacular space. However, my husband and I were seated in the first row of the lower balcony, I thought great seats when I bought them. However, my husband is just over 6’ and could not fit his legs between the seat and the retaining wall. It was extremely uncomfortable and he is not of super-human height. Patrons should be aware that while these seats provide an excellent view, only those who are maximum 5’6” will have sufficient leg room without cramping.

I was wishing I was in a venue where I could dance. Orpheum has good acoustics, but sitting in a theatre seat listening to rockin blues is not ideal. I wanted to DANCE! I am familiar with venues and knew what it would be like; I just didn’t predict how much his music would “move” me. Great performance Colin James!

Such a great time seeing Colin James in Vancouver. My favourite concert of all times, and the Orpheum was the perfect venue!

Colin and his band put on a great show, those guys can really play. All the musicians were great and Colin’s tunes are amazing!

I been a fan of Colin James for many years but have never been able to see him live!! I finally was able to get tickets and made the time to go, I was able to buy four front row seats at the Northern Alberta Jubilee and long story short our friends were not able to make it so in short notice I asked my 16 year old granddaughter if she would like to come with us. She said sure but who is this guy??? I said Google him.... My wife and I proceed to go with two 16 year old girls who we were a little worried they may not enjoy the concert! To begin with, we were pleasantly surprised with the Jubilee Auditorium and atmosphere as we have never been there, easy line ups for food and beverages and also for memorabilia. When Colin James took the stage I was instantly entertained ( did I mention I am a huge fan? lol) and by halfway through the show could tell my whole group was absolutely enjoying the show and by the end we were all up dancing and singing along!! Fair to say we enjoyed the whole venue and Colin James was FANTASTIC!!!

Love seeing Colin James’s shows when he is in Calgary. He and his band are fantastic musicians, he interacts with the audience mixed old songs with the new, and provided an awesome in the moment experience. Love his music! And he is Canadian!!

Colin was great! He’s still got the pipes, doesn’t miss a string on guitar, and the sound in the Jubilee is incredible! Excellent show!👍 If/when he comes back, we’ll be there!

Everything from the venue to the artist made this a great night out. I've been a fan of Colin James for many years and his shows never fail to disappoint. I didn't anticipate an opening act as the show started at 8pm however, was wowed by Terra Lightfoot. Her vocals, especially in her upper registrar, were hauntingly beautiful. If either artist were back tomorrow I would immediately buy tickets!

We LOVE Mr James, we go to every concert brought to town and areas surrounding. He's never disappointed. This show, my husband was ready to leave after hearing his favourite song, National Steel, which Mr. James lead the concert with. The feel of the concert was dissociated. and disconnected. I didn't feel the plugged in feeling as per usual. I saw Mr. James strain to remember words, and figure out where his place is on stage. My personal favourite song Into the Mystic, usually can move me to goosebumps, but this time left me numb and wanting. The audience was full of ADHD humans that had something put in their Koolaid. I've never been interrupted so many times in my life, just to let people out so they can feed their inability to pay attention to something longer than 30 secs. I stood in the aisle more than my seat. We did leave after Into the Mystic, I had enough of the audience effect. We are hoping concerts go the way of live streaming tickets. So we can stay home, and try to enjoy the artist, and not be effected by the audience games. I hope that Mr. James, finds a break to regenerate, and truly heal from his accident in September. He's had no healing time. Can't push the machine when it's not in top condition. We wish him continued success, & it's time to ground self and heal. We will see him at his next concert!

Great night at Colin James concert! And the Jubilee is an amazing venue. There is an actual human at the parking entrance and only $7! It was my 6th time seeing Colin James and once again, he didn’t disappoint. From rock to blues, he does it all, surrounded by his amazing band. And for the first time, he had merchandise for sale. Amazing venue. Amazing artist.

Colin was excellent as usual. Great mix of selections from old and new. His voice and guitar skillset were great as usual. Very humble person without being egotistic. I would recommend that the intermission after the opening act should be much shorter and preferably having Colin sing a few songs before the break. We were a little bored in waiting for the main talent of Colin and his great band.

He was hot, sexy and alive! Terri Lightfoot has an amazing voice. We couldn’t stop talking about Colin James. Huge fan!

Colin James is an outstanding musician. And what a guitar player! At first the band was a little too loud and his vocals were hard to hear but as the concert progressed they fixed that problem so he could be heard. Really enjoyed the show

Really enjoyed Colin's performance both old and new songs. As great as ever! Warm up act was not a favorite for us and could have done without the 20 minute intermission between warm up and main show given there did not seem to be any requirement for equipment setup.

What an outstanding performance by Colin James at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium! Colin is a world class performer to be sure! The band was perfect and Terra Lightfoot a delight to see again! Thank you for such a quality show!!

Great concert at an awesome venue! If you get a chance, go see him.
