Come From Away on Tour
The true story of the small town that welcomed the world.
Broadway's COME FROM AWAY has won Best Musical all across North America!
The New York Times Critics' Pick takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.
Don't miss this breathtaking new musical written by Tony® nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and helmed by this year's Tony-winning Best Director, Christopher Ashley. Newsweek cheers, "It takes you to a place you never want to leave!"
On 9/11, the world stopped. On 9/12, their stories moved us all.

I knew and loved the heartwarming story but was disappointed in the presentation. Sat in the first balcony and had to strain to hear what the actors were saying or singing. This was compounded by trying to understand a regional dialect and the speed of of the spoken word. It was also hard to keep track of characters as every actor seemed to play at least two parts.
This play was so well done. I laughed, I was on the verge of tears until I laughed again. Couldn't leave my seat, even to use the washroom. After the show, I wasn't the only one to race to the washroom. When I was there I said "you know the performance is great when you will risk busting a kidney instead of leaving your seat to attend the bathroom!". Several ladies laughed and completely agreed! Awesome show and so much talent from all of the performers.
The energy i felt from that performance was unexpected. Hopefully i can see it again! Thank you for coming to Thunder Bay!!!!
This was my second time seeing *Come from Away* , a heartwarming and powerful musical that tells the true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, after the 9/11 attacks. The show brilliantly captures the humanity, kindness, and sense of community that emerged during such a difficult time. The cast effortlessly portrays multiple characters, the simple set is perfectly manipulated, and the music is both uplifting and deeply emotional. It’s a reminder of how people can come together and support one another in times of crisis, leaving you with a lasting sense of hope and inspiration. I laughed, cried and cheered, and absolutely loved every minute of it.
. The story, songs and characters Was so well done. I’d recommend everyone to go see it. Brought my teenage grandsons and they enjoyed it as much as I did.
As an avid musical theatre lover, this was by far, the most amazing experience of that genre ever, for me personally!! We saw “Come From Away” years ago in Toronto and didn’t think that version could be topped, but it was!! The cast, the singing, the joking that brought leverage to a very serious and frightening moment in history that in some way reshaped our belief about personally safety in the world, brought a story of hope into a time where the world stood still and held its breath! Bravo to the cast, the crew and the playwrights!!!!
It is amazing what twelve actors/ singers can do on one stage with 12 chairs , a few tables and two doors that open in the wall behind. There wasn't one break in the story and it lasted almost 2 hours. The acting and singing were excellent. We were totally engaged the whole time! I would highly recommend anyone going to see it.
The show was amazing!! Everyone in the cast was outstanding.. Exceeded my expectations
Incredible show! Used a great story line to present an energetic, funny, very entertaining production. Excellent use of minimal set to portray various scenes in efficient form. Actors did superb job of bringing story back to life, each portraying multiple characters. Would go again.
