As usual Corb and his gang wowed the audience with a tight set of old favs and great new material. From witty, insightful lyrics to Grant Siemens tearing apart the electric guitar / banjo, the show didn't have a bad beat. If you like country and/or rock and roll, you don't want to miss Corb Lund if you have the chance to catch their act. Opening act Mike Plume Band was also really good. Definitely a band I'd watch again, especially if they were playing a local bar.
1st time seeing Corb Lund. Would definitely go again.
Wonderful!!!!!!! We were only two feet from the stage. Great interactions with the crowd! Talented front bands. Corb handled the strange girl who climbed stage with ease. lol. It was a night to remember, a REAL CANADIAN EVENT filled with INCREDIBLE CANADIAN talent! Thank you Corb, the Hurtin' Albertans and the cover bands. I have been 'stuck in the mud' numerous times 4wheeling with my hubby and your songs are always on the stereo! Great job, great songs, great venue.
loved the way the band just played one song after another. Played a great variety of songs.
The music was high energy, lively and the band had amazing stage presence. the opening acts played well, and Corb and his band were absolutely AMAZING. The show was an amazing "bang for your buck" and Corb never let the energy slow down. All around, one of the best shows this year for country music in Ontario! - keep it coming with the Canadian music!
I have to say that Oct 21sts' performance was one of the best - I have been to all of their performances of late here in Ottawa and area and I have to say this was a grand one indeed! Great sound, Corb played a huge repertoire of his songs! I love Alberta and I love Corb Lund - great Canadian talent. You should all go when he comes back!
Having seen Corb Lund before we were pleased that they were even better. The band has a lot of charm and they play well as a unit. Corb is the magic though and he delivered. Last night was energetic but we've seen Corb win over the crowds at the Bluesfest who weren't even expecting him and there's the magic. Mike Plume was a surprise and a bonus, especially his 8:30 Newfoundland song. We will be getting that album and looking for him in the future.
