Unforgettable event, great to attend and be a part of!!
Outstanding event, we watched history being made and it was definitely the best event I’ve been to.
It was very enjoyable. It was a thrill to see the golfers in person as I had only seen them on tv before. It will make future tv golf watching more meaningful.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first ever golf tournament. Great weather and watching Brooke Henderson of course was the highlight of the event , Have to thank all the volunteers as I am sure an event of this magnitude would not work without them. Concession prices were well priced and event was well run.
golf was great , concession prices not great , weather was terrific
I went Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and had an excellent time. Attendants did not know how or where to exchange tickets for lanyard pass or lost and found area. Club Embassador Claude Bennett took charge and brought us to the entrance kiosk and got the answers we were looking for. Great event with many 1st class golfers hitting excellent golf shots. Hard to believe some of these little Asian dynamos cranking out drives 240-250 yds effortlessly. Lots of wonderfull talent coming up through the ranks for years to come. Disappointed for Brooke not being able to repeat her Saturday course record but I'm sure she learned plenty for the experience. Well done Brooke!
Super event, friendly staff, the course was in immaculate shape, and everything was well run and on time...it was a great experience
Really Enjoyed the Day!! Great to see Brooke play! A lot of walking though, would like to have seats next time! Expensive for items at this event!
Amazing event which was priced right and well organized. Easy access to grounds and fairways/greens and LPGA members after the round.
Thanks to CP for sponsoring the 2017 Women's Open, I hope they continue their support. It was great to see the event return to Ottawa after such a long absence! The Ottawa Hunt was a terrific venue, and I hope it won't take another 8 yrs to come back! Crowds were awesome and very respective to all the competitors
We had a one-day pass and what a day we chose! We were able to follow a few golfers, including Michelle Wie, but the real treat was seeing Canada's own Brooke Henderson shoot 63!
I booked a week off work and bought a full pass for the CP Women's Open. I am not a huge golf fan and had never been to a pro tour but it was on my bucket list. The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club was in pristine condition and the site was well laid out. The practice rounds gave me the opportunity to meet my favourite players and take amazing pictures. The tournament was exciting and showcased the best of women's golf. Thanks to the Hunt Club, Golf Canada, the volunteers, and of course, the competitors!
Amazing two days in Ottawa following the ladies at the LPGA Canadian Open. Fantastic golf course; great weather and most of all awesome golfers!
The event is only the third time in history that it has been held at this venue. I went 3 of the 7 days and enjoyed every one of them. It is rare that a golf event of this calibre comes to Calgary. It was very organized with pamphlets every day describing the days events. There were lots of other activities to participate in if one got bored of the golf. Crowd control was excellent however I think more could be done to manage those people that do not abide by the rules - taking pictures, going where they shouldn't, talking and making noise when the golfers are hitting the ball.
Great day out, my only issue was having to park SO far away !! We had to drive to Spruce Meadows, pay $10 to park then be bused back to Priddis Greens. The course is beautiful although there are lots of areas around the greens you can not get very close to. Lots of concessions, had a burger and it was very good. All in all a good day out and would go again.
There was no designated seating in the Fanz area, as we were led to believe, and paid extra for. The only seat numbers were the the ones on the ticket itself. It was first come first serve and most people that paid for a designated seat didn't even get a seat. It was total confusion --- very disappointed --- left early. The corporate bleachers took up most of the viewing area around the 18th green and were practically empty. The general public would have been better served watching the final hole on the Golf Channel. Why not charge $4.00 for an average cup of coffee and only $3.00 for a bag of potato chips.
Played on a beautiful course. Shuttle service from Spruce Meadows was totally inadequate. Organisers would have known how many tickets were sold for each day and there would be peaks and valleys of spectators at the pick up point. As it was we waited more than an hour on Friday morning at Spruce Meadows. Others were less fortunate.
