About
Craig Morgan is a veteran not only of Nashville, but also this great country; Morgan served in the United States Army for ten years before he returned to Tennessee and launched his music career in the late '90s. The country artist has since released seven studio albums featuring multiple top 10 hits. A regular on the tour circuit, Morgan continues to support the troops back home as well as abroad with benefit concerts. In fact, the charitable Morgan typically offers discounted or free tickets to the numerous shows he plays at military bases and on USO tours. Morgan will play select dates in early 2014 before kicking off a nationwide tour in February. Morgan released his greatest hits collection in 2013 following his sixth studio album, "This Ole Boy." The record features the title track as a single as well as "The World Needs a Kitchen" and "Better Stories."
The Tennessee native received the 2006 USO Merit Award for his tireless support of the U.S. military, and he also hosts an annual two-day charity for Billy's Place. After releasing his self-titled debut album in 2000, Morgan was behind the hits "That's What I Love About Sunday," which spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard country charts and "Redneck Yacht Club," off his best-selling album "My Kind of Livin'." The "International Harvester" continues to wow fans privileged to see him in concert, as Morgan is clearly a unique kind of rock star, one who not only produces top 10 hits on a regular basis, but also helps make the world a better place and actively supports the U.S. military.
