Dallas Cowboys Team History

The Dallas Cowboys have been led by star coaches dating back to 1960, when the franchise, then headed by Tom Landry, joined the NFL. Over the course of 29 years, Landry led the Cowboys to two Super Bowl titles, five Super Bowl appearances, five NFC Championships, 13 division titles, and 20 consecutive winning seasons. Following Landry’s tenure, the team has won three more Super Bowls in the 1992 (XXVII), 1993 (XXVIII), and 1995 (XXX) seasons.

The Cowboys have also produced stellar players, including Emmitt Smith — who led the team to win three conference championships — and Michael Irvin, who was the previous leader in all receiving categories.

What a view, what a game!!!

by SkyHighNoLie on 2009-11-02Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

Sat in the top row of the stadium and still found it to be an outstanding experience. The venue is truly unbelievable. The climb to the seats are steep but that allows for the better view of the field from your seat. It is worth it. The fact that both ends of the stadium are open in design let's you feel a sense of the outside even though you are very comfortable in an indoor stadium. The big screen is outstanding and allows you to see every detail. Jerry and Team got this one right!!

Part of the Record Breaking Day!

by dqpyle on 2009-09-24Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

I was one of the &29 Party Pass holders on the West Side (SRO). I knew when buying this ticket that I would more than likely not be able to see the game on the field, but let me be a part of the event on-site feeling the excitement, energy, and atmosphere which the opening of the stadium would bring. The numerous screens to keep up with the game were everywhere and I never lost a down. I loved the experience and would recommend it to anyone else wanting to "be there" for the games. On the west end zone, I didn't see any trouble from frustrated fans and all the other reports coming out after the fact. Security and Police were FANTASTIC and very flexible knowing that people were there to enjoy Cowboy Football! Here's to the 2009 season!
