Dallas Smith first rose to fame as the frontman of alternative rock band Default, but he's sure to rise even higher as a country rock solo artist. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Vancouver-born Dallas Smith launched his music career as the frontman of post-grunge rock group Default, who enjoyed considerable success in the early '00s with their hit single "Wasting My Time". Despite the group's success, country music beckoned to Smith, and in 2012 he released his solo debut album Jumped Right In, a collection of guitar-driven country jams that landed five singles on the Canadian Hot 100. Smith racked up award nominations including Country Album of the Year at the 2013 Juno Awards and Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association. If 2013 wasn't busy enough he also embarked on a sold-out Canadian tour with Bob Seger, played alongside Jason Aldean, and signed with Republic Nashville. His first U.S. single "Trippin' Point" was co-written by Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard and went platinum in Canada. Smith finished 2014 by touring with Florida Georgia Line and working on his highly anticipated sophomore album.
Enjoyed all the artists. James barker band are premium talented entertainers. Dallas smith has a fabulous voice but the volume was so loud that it distorted the sound and took away from his natural gift of singing
If you get the chance to see Dallas Smith live RUN don’t walk!! High energy, interactive, sounds amazing and honestly this was my second fav concert next to Thomas Rhett. Loved it so much We wanted to go to the next town the following night!
Absolutely loved it Got pit tickets and it wasn’t too packed or anything. Sound was amazing and it was an awesome show!!!
Everything was beyond our expectations, customer service, sound, lighting, venue and of course the music.

This was a great concert! Everyone was a great performer and engaged the crowd! In Sydney the crowd was small but it made for a better experience not being squished by people! Dallas smith is awesome!
Everything was great about this concert, the only down fall was Jojo Mason who was touring with him didn't play more songs! Had a blast. Such a good time.

The show was good but the women’s bathroom were all clogged and not flushing. We were able to pee but who would want to! Also, the men’s bathrooms were flooded and disgusting too!
From start to finish entertaining the music the sound just the whole atmosphere was top notch

The show was hands down amazing! The venue had some pluming issues where you couldn't use the bathrooms for over have the event. This posed an issue but still can't give it less than 5 stars 😊
This is my 6th time seeing Dallas Smith, 3rd time at AEC. Always a fantastic experience and great atmosphere. Very local, easy to get and lots of parking.
The night was amazing. The kids had a blast and the pit crowd was calm and friendly all night.

This wasn’t just any regular concert. It was incredible having so many artists perform that night. This was a show that anyone would have enjoyed. It’ll be a night I remember for ever
We got to Venue at 7 and the lineup was huge. Took about 15 minutes to get in so missed first act. Show was good but maybe a few too many acts.
This was my 6th time seeing Mr Smith live. Every time I’ve seen him I’ve always been super impressed. 7 different artists this tour? Holy crap it was like a 4 hour music festival. If you haven’t seen him live yet you’re absolutely missing out.
Dallas Smith is an amazing entertainer who always picks a great opening lineup. This is the third time ive been to one of his concerts. He always gives the artists that are new to country music their stage time- if they have potential, they are there. In the past, he has chosen a great way to line everyone up in the set as well, but this time I thought there was room for improvement as with the last 2 shows he brought all of the openers back at encore and did not this time. I was actually looking forward to that. Also, while hearing from the James Barker Band and JoJo Mason as long as we did was great, I thought that Meghan Patrick and Shawn Austin could have used a bit more stage time as well. I noticed that the entertainer that really got the show started was Meghan Patrick, but that she wasnt out for very long. I would love to see the James Barker Band, Meghan Patrick, and Shawn Austin all come back separately highlighting their own tours.
