DALLAS SMITH IN CONCERT:
Dallas Smith first rose to fame as the frontman of alternative rock band Default, but he's sure to rise even higher as a country rock solo artist. He's already earned comparisons to Keith Urban and Jason Aldean, and fans lucky enough to catch him live will have no trouble seeing why he's country's hottest new addition. Feel-good, hook-heavy anthems like "Trippin' Point" and "Slow Rollin'" are tailor-made for summer party soundtracks, and Smith delivers them perfectly at his live shows. A natural showman who delivers fast-paced, energetic performances, Smith never fails to have ticket buyers dancing in their boots all night long.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Vancouver-born Dallas Smith launched his music career as the frontman of post-grunge rock group Default, who enjoyed considerable success in the early '00s with their hit single "Wasting My Time". Despite the group's success, country music beckoned to Smith, and in 2012 he released his solo debut album Jumped Right In, a collection of guitar-driven country jams that landed five singles on the Canadian Hot 100. Smith racked up award nominations including Country Album of the Year at the 2013 Juno Awards and Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association. If 2013 wasn't busy enough he also embarked on a sold-out Canadian tour with Bob Seger, played alongside Jason Aldean, and signed with Republic Nashville. His first U.S. single "Trippin' Point" was co-written by Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard and went platinum in Canada. Smith finished 2014 by touring with Florida Georgia Line and working on his highly anticipated sophomore album.

Loved loved loved all the performances! Great music! Fabulous line up! Fantastic show!!! đĽ°â¤ď¸
The show was hands down amazing! The venue had some pluming issues where you couldn't use the bathrooms for over have the event. This posed an issue but still can't give it less than 5 stars đ
This is my 6th time seeing Dallas Smith, 3rd time at AEC. Always a fantastic experience and great atmosphere. Very local, easy to get and lots of parking.
The night was amazing. The kids had a blast and the pit crowd was calm and friendly all night.
7 artists. 200+ minutes of music. Well played Dallas Smith and company!!
This wasnât just any regular concert. It was incredible having so many artists perform that night. This was a show that anyone would have enjoyed. Itâll be a night I remember for ever
We got to Venue at 7 and the lineup was huge. Took about 15 minutes to get in so missed first act. Show was good but maybe a few too many acts.
This was my 6th time seeing Mr Smith live. Every time Iâve seen him Iâve always been super impressed. 7 different artists this tour? Holy crap it was like a 4 hour music festival. If you havenât seen him live yet youâre absolutely missing out.
Dallas Smith is an amazing entertainer who always picks a great opening lineup. This is the third time ive been to one of his concerts. He always gives the artists that are new to country music their stage time- if they have potential, they are there. In the past, he has chosen a great way to line everyone up in the set as well, but this time I thought there was room for improvement as with the last 2 shows he brought all of the openers back at encore and did not this time. I was actually looking forward to that. Also, while hearing from the James Barker Band and JoJo Mason as long as we did was great, I thought that Meghan Patrick and Shawn Austin could have used a bit more stage time as well. I noticed that the entertainer that really got the show started was Meghan Patrick, but that she wasnt out for very long. I would love to see the James Barker Band, Meghan Patrick, and Shawn Austin all come back separately highlighting their own tours.
7 different artist performed. Non stop music. It wss great from start to finish.
Loved the show, dispise the barn. A true audio techs nightmare. There's a difference between lots of power giving you volume, and don't have enough power so crank the volume..... The speakers splatting took away from the performance and the tallent on hand. Not enough to ruin it, but it took the 5th star away for me. Well played show, all the same. I'll go again!
Incredible show. Opening acts were amazing also and will definitely be going again when Dallas smith is in Alberta.
Dallas Smith is an amazing performer, always a great concert!
Dallas Smith was awesome! We enjoyed all the other bands too.... so great! We did NOT enjoy the 4 people in front of us who chose to stand. We had terrific seats, but we could not see the stage, and had to move to a different section, which is not always possible. Why is this tolerated? If people want to stand, they should be purchasing a floor ticket.....
Loved that there were alot of acts performing and the quality of those performing. James Barker Band and Dallas Smith were absolutely amazing!
Just an incredible performance! Not the biggest or most glamorous show but the talent, voices and artists were all amazing! Had the crowd rocking and singing to every song!! Great show and worth every cent!!
Saw Dallas smith for the 6th time and he gets better every time! I absolutely love watching him perform
Dallas Smith and James Barker band AMAZING! All other opening acts super good except the first band. Lead singer off key and bad feedback on the music. Otherwise 10/10 for the concert đ
When attending a concert with Dallas Smith on the bill, youâre guaranteed a good time. Lots of energy and great music, makes for a fun event.
