Great show and excellent value. The opening acts were very enjoyable and fun, you can tell these groups love what they do. Dan was fantastic. I have seen him in a smaller venue before (60 people) but if you have to see him in a 700 person venue Myer Horowitz is excellent..

by PacManganT on 2010-11-08Trinity-St. Paul's Centre - TorontoGreat location for a great performer! It was amazing to here Mangan for the second time, and to get a sneak peak into the next album in the works. Harbourcoats and crackling set the mood with some pretty fantastic performances themselves.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Dan Mangan enchants the Trinity United Crowd
by RosemontAlpha on 2010-11-03Trinity-St. Paul's Centre - TorontoOne of the more memorable concerts at Trinity United. The acoustics lend themselves very well to his music. The backing horns, violins, viola, double bass add great depth and texture to the music. Robots and Fair Verona sounded amazing, in fact all the songs were outstanding including some new ones. Outstanding 'feel good' entertainment

by sarah86 on 2010-10-31Trinity-St. Paul's Centre - TorontoThe venue (church on bloor street) was amazing! Great personal small venue feel. Dan's performance was great! Very personal. Lots of funny moments! Sound was great. He really got everyone into it by asking the crowd to sing backup and aim and clap along. Overall Loved it!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Dan Mangan - Phenomenal
by Kleixa on 2010-10-30Trinity-St. Paul's Centre - TorontoDespite the drums occasionally being overloud, this concert was nothing less than phenomenal, with excellent vocals backed by fantastic instrumentals, and overall, a very nice flow to the set.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Dan the Mangan put on a great show
by DiggyTheDog on 2010-10-30Trinity-St. Paul's Centre - TorontoI saw Dan Mangan with a friend at Trinity Spadina United Church, and it was a great venue for his folk/pop/alt music. He had us singing backup, went out into the crowd - like a humble preacher saying 'what the hell, I want to get these guys fired up!' and we were. We were his choir for a few minutes and the acoustics were excellent. His songs live were much better than on the CD - and they are very good canned as well - but they came to life, especially Road Regrets. Strangely, his upbeat numbers struck as more emotional and successful than his ballad-like ones (Basket). New songs were generally good - particularly the one about soldiers coming back from war zones to be forgotten. Highly recommended.
