The music of course was fantastic. Bahamas always put on a great concert. Sound was crisp and clear, lights were great not too bright. Great show, great atmosphere

  • Great artist

Bahamas and band are top notch musicians and a fantastic repertoire of music. Bahamas is an excellent guitarist and overall entertainer. The venue isn’t my favourite as it doesn’t have theatre style seating on floor. But sound fine

  • One of the Best Ever

Couldn’t have asked for better! Afie is a Canadian treasure. His. Bahamas has been a very satisfying addition to my playlists. So many wonderful original songs perfectly performed live at the Burt.

  • Wow! Amazing! Better than I could have even imagined

by KG on 2024-04-22The Centre in Vancouver - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I love Bahamas, but had never seen them live, and wow, I expected it to be good but it was downright amazing! The band is so tight, Afie was hilarious, every song sounded like it could have been recorded in the studio but was a different arrangement than I'd heard before. They have such a defined sound together that perfectly balances weird experimentation, with 'just enough' minimalism, tight groove without being "funky"and beautiful harmonies. Both their playing and the lighting offered such great contrast and dynamics to the set. The way Afie and Christine's guitar playing weaves in and out of being in unison or harmonizing against each other was inspiring. I don't understand how they were so in sync! I even caught myself obsessing over the tightness of the drumming (which is usually more of an afterthought to me). The understated locked in bass and jaw dropping beauty of Felicity's voice really ties it all together. I will absolutely go see them again every chance I get! It also sounded amazing without being too loud being in more of a theatre venue. I always wear fancy earplugs to shows and didn't feel the need to wear them. I DID wish I could move around a bit more since it was so groovy, but the amazing views and sound quality was worth not dancing along!

  • Good, straight up music…fun, insightful, total blast!

ALL I CAN SAY IS GO IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THEM AND GO AGAIN IF YOU HAVE!!

  • Once was not enough!!

    by Crazy C on 2023-11-04Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the matinee show so much I exited that concert and went right to the box office to see if I could get an evening ticket too. I had to have more Bahamas!! I lucked out and had an even more wonderful Bahamas evening. It was an absolutely super Bahamas day!!! What talent and grace. Thank you so so much for all the wonderful memories. The audience was so appreciative of the opportunity to share time in the company of such amazing music and musicians. Georgia was an excellent pick to start the evening off. What a beautiful voice and soul. I loved how sweet the children and families were treated in the matinee It was magical. Thanks to everyone for being so amazingly talented and "real".

  • Awesome!

by Afshar on 2023-11-01Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Afie and the band always put on a good show. Massey is a great venue for them. Acoustics and sound setup was amazing. The set could be a little longer (the only petty complaint).

  • Matinee Makes Marvelous Melodies Manageable

by Jordie on 2023-11-01Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Took my daughter to her first concert. Vibes were immaculate. She got to dance up front Bahamas did a superb job of playing to the kids and the adults in attendance. Other than a few “tolerable” children cries, you would not have known it was a kids show. I hope more artists do this.

  • Moving show brought me to tears

by JP on 2023-11-01Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I've loved Bahamas' music for years now so I was very excited for this show. My expectations were blown out of the water! Afie's voice is deep, buttery smooth, and tickles your inner ear in a lasting way. His accompanying back up singer, Felicity Williams, has a voice like a fallen angel. The rest of the band tightly brought everything together. I laughed, danced, cried along with Bahamas throughout the entire show. Great night. 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

  • Fantastic Show... but too short!

by Heatherg on 2023-11-01Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Bahamas put on an amazing show. Loved everything about it, except they were only on stage for one hour. Definitely expected to hear a few more tunes!
