Very fun! Even on the WECC upper deck, there's good viewing and sound.

  • You gotta love him!

by elliez on 2009-12-20West End Cultural Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

He's cute, he's funny and he's unbelievably talented! This was my 4th concert and the 2nd one where I have sat with people who have not seen him before. They came curious just to see and hear and left big fans. Just like me after my first concert. I love his voice, his "beat", his humour and his ideas about love and the environment.

  • Danny lures them in

Left with a smile on my face. Danny's unique music and charm just draws you in as the show progresses. He seemed to be having as much fun as the crowd. Some excellent lyrics

  • Danny Michel Floors the Crowd

by RobShaw on 2009-07-14West End Cultural Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Danny Michel was a standout in the inaugural first week of the newly refurbished West End Cultural Centre - he is an astonishing musician, writes poignant, beautiful songs and had us mesmerized and amazed, gorgeous sound, great, intimate space and a truly memorable show. Check him out sometime, you will not be disappointed.

  • Danny Michel: heartfelt and hillarious

by Lindsey on 2009-07-14West End Cultural Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Danny Michel is hillarious between songs and is highly entertaining. While his sense of humour is apparent, his songs are heartful and unforgettable. Although it was just a one man show, Danny's presence filled the stage like an entire group of musicians.

  • Great Show

by Cocobean on 2009-07-13West End Cultural Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Danny Michel graced us with his presence during the Re-Opening Week of the West End Cultural Centre. He wowed us with his new album Feather, Fur and Fin along with his quirky smiles and cute dance moves. One of the highlights for me was when he did a cover of Tom Wait's Time. Great show; I'll see him everytime he comes to Winnipeg!

  • Excellent entertainer.

Danny always is a very funny, very entertaining performer. I always enjoy myself at his shows and this one was great! He seemed to be really happy to be there as his between-song banter kept the crowd fully engaged. A great songwriter and singer, Danny is the best!

  • What a Show!

by IndieFiend on 2009-07-12MARQUEE ROOM - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Danny Michel is a genius! The show was absolutely fantastic, full of old favorites and new favorites off of Feather Fur and Fin. Danny's stage presence and relaxed nature with the crowd is reason alone to see him. Every show I've been to is unique, full of laughter, and exceptional music.

  • Terrible venue - avoid at all costs!

by Tintin on 2009-07-12MARQUEE ROOM - CalgaryRating: 1 out of 5

The Marquee Room is the worst venue for music I have ever been too. I'm a big DM fan, but this room caused most people to just keep talking over him for most of the show. Horrible set-up, horrible sound and a lacklustre performance to come out of it. I will never attend a show at the Marquee Room again. It's a shame they even book musicians to play there.
