Hilarious, engaging, hugely entertaining. The show didn't need the big ending but the big ending was also fantastic. Dara kept threatening to run over time after a long (and brilliant) engagement with the audience and stories of his recent travels in Canada - and I'd have happily kept listening as long as he wanted to keep talking. Can't wait for the next show.
It was hilarious, I will never think of Moncton the same. The stage and crowd management were expert and kept the show running smoothly allowing the comedy to just flow. We are still laughing at some of the jokes days later.
Dara was phenomenal, and brilliant! Did not want the night to end!— makes me want to have him over for dinner! Love him and his wit!— can’t wait to see him again!
Dara was extremely funny and engaging. He brought his intelligent brand of humour and the audience lapped it up. I think he was surprised at how much the Toronto audience "got him" and his humour. We would see him again if he came back.
Never saw a live standup comedian with such control over his audience. He engaged people from the front rows at the same time reading the general reception at all levels feeding into their participation and reaction . Very worthwhile seeing . If you had to come up with anything negative it would be that he spoke so fast and with such a heavy accent , which is all kart if his entertains delivery , that you sometimes had a hard time keeping up . In speaking to a an Irish tourist who came to see the performance , he commented , “I’m Irish and live in Dublin and I had a hard time at times in understanding him . But all in all very enjoyable and we were Chas we went to see him …
Really happy to finally see Dara live. Brought some people with me who've never seen him before. I only wish that we were in the front row! The venue was gorgeous. He made fun of it for the leaf aesthetic but I love it.
