    Predictable post trump

    by J. Z. on 2023-04-24

Every joke is predictable now. He has gone woke and soft. Just telling the crowd what they want to hear… he use to be so edgy

    Hillarious

David Cross delivers in such a brilliant smooth way, and his philosophy on life is spot on. I was howling at basically everything.

    Top notch comedian

by Yayo on 2018-07-11Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Knowing his great work, I thought for sure my wife would walk out during the show but she actually really enjoyed the show too. Hopefully we'll see this talent come through Winnipeg again. Couldn't take a pic with the cell phone as they were banned or you'd be kicked out immediately - this was a shame as we had front row seats. Also, no merch for sale at the Winnipeg show which was disappointing but it saved us some cash. Overall great value - all the tickets were only $40 plus the insane fees.

Hilarious! David Cross was smart and hilarious to watch! The location was warm but that is to be expected in such an old venue.

Disappointing for both of my parents

by newbie204 on 2018-07-11Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Hello, So this was supposed to be a date night for my parents as I know my mom and dad love to laugh and love the just for laughs comedy tour people and any other comedy shows. But when I asked my parents as they arrived home that night, how was the event. Both of them said they were disappointed and the worst show that they have actually seen. They said that no one was laughing and that the people next to them just drank more as the night progressed. My parents usually don't say bad things, but this one they were truly disappointed in and so was I, as this was supposed to be a date night for them

Funny as always and I appreciated his take on all topics mentioned. He's just saying what we're all thinking but in a hilarious way!

I love David Cross - I love Bob & David; Arrested Development and his early standup. I've seen him twice now in the last 6 years and both times he has been underwhelming. He really seems to be phoning this in - at least this time - it was all new material.

    Brilliant

by batphantom on 2016-07-28The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

One of the smartest and funniest comedians of all time. His political observations are devastating. Don't expect a lot of "jokes" but you'll still laugh your ass off.

    David Cross is comedy royalty!

by FunnymanKS on 2009-10-05Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

The only bad thing I can say about Cross' performance was that it wasn't longer. His bits were very well written, and side splitting to say the least.

David Cross is a joyful romp

by Cloden on 2009-10-05Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Long time fans would be extremely to happy that David Cross is still his foul-mouthed, brutally honest, observant self. Thought provoking, provocative, crude yet eloquent, I had a fabulous time.

    David Cross - Sept 2009

by stickyicky on 2009-10-05Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

David was ok...not as many laugh out loud moments as I'd hoped...I was paticularly peaved when he cut his set short because the theater was running behind. Top it off he then opted to show us his new UK TV trailer instead of doing an encore :( 100 bucks later...I won't see him again.

by yoyomofo on 2009-10-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

david cross is freakin hilarious. if you get a chance, definitely check him out. if you're the type to be easily offended (he makes fun of everyone and everything), don't bother - but if you can sit back and see life from all points of view, you'll enjoy yourself for sure. if you like arrested development or mr.show then this is a must-see.

    Hilarious

by SgtZim on 2009-10-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Fantastic show. The only downside was that after the show sold out, they added a second show the same evening at 10pm. Of course our show started late, and David got the signal at some point during his act and basically said he had to wrap it up so they could get the next audience in. So the people who were too late getting tickets ened up getting a longer show than us. Fantastic material, though, and at the end, he showed the first 5 mins or so from a new UK sitcom he's in with Will Arnett. Bloody hilarious!

David Cross had everyone rolling in the aisles

by Dannnnnnn on 2009-10-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

I've been listening to David Cross' stand up albums for years and I own and have watched his "Let America Laugh" DVD, but I have to say as good as he is in these digital forms, nothing can compare to seeing him live. The show was amazing, no better way to put it.

    Gold: Start To Finish...

by whitedangelo on 2009-10-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

It had been 10 years or more I had been looking forward to an intimate night (of comedy) with David. Last night all of my (high) hopes came true in the form of a bearded, jewish Mr. cross at QET. I cannot speak highly enough of this show as my body continues to ache from such a lengthy bought of laughing/laughter/tears... Good hustle David Cross and what a crowd!

    Fun show

by Juliana on 2009-10-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

My only complaint is that I went to the 8:00 pm show- I think we may have missed out on some material because there was a show after us-really liked his use of props- he just seems like a really cool guy- would like to have a drink with him sometime!

    David Cross was HILARIOUS!!!

by MediKate on 2009-10-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

A brilliant comedic mind that makes you laugh, and think, and then laugh again so hard that you forget what you were thinking about! Great seats like I had (5th row) really make a show like this so much better. Being able to see every eye roll or facial expression truly enhances the jokes. Nice venue as well. I wasn't even aware that there was a theatre like that in the Exhibition grounds. Great times had by all!!
