I've been going to shows for 35 years. In that time I've seen some pretty amazing shows.
This show didn't raise the bar, it moved the bar to the Dark Side of the Moon.
Gilmour is a true master of the guitar. Excellent visuals, combined with amazing musicians (alas, I mourn the passing of Rick Wright, he's a keyboardist who just cannot be replaced).
I was 3rd row dead center in front of David, so there were maybe a handful of better seats in the venue than I had, so I felt truly blessed, and what a blessing it was!
It takes a lot to surpass being front row for the likes of The Rolling Stones and KISS, but this blew all of those experiences right out of the water. The sound was clean, the crowd was great (no drunken fools next to me) and the show......... one word WOW!!!!
If you have an opportunity to see this tour, don't hesitate. Ignore the ticket cost, get the best ticket that money can buy, it is a memory that is truly worth it. I would've purchased the ticket at twice the price in a heartbeat.
