  • Deep Purple

by Sharon on 2024-09-16Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful to see them (the original 3) together and still playing very tightly as a band. YES was a super opener as well. Thanks for bringing them to Montreal. We’d love to see more events like this one in future!

  • Deep Purple

by poka on 2024-09-11Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Deep Purple was very good as always. Before Deep Purple performance two different artists were on stage with combined time of 3 hours. It's a matter of taste whether they were good, but when Deep Purple started I was already worn out by the previous performers. Negative impression from the show of 3 hours, with some loud song which lasted more than 10 minutes affects the positive impression of Deep Purple show of 1.5 hours.

  • Amazing mix of classics and new songs

by Gabriel on 2024-09-06Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

I was nervous to see a band I had listened to for close to 40 years. I wondered if not seeing them with their full Mk II lineup in their heyday would be a bit of a disappointment. It was not. They were incredible and had impressive stage presence. Their new tracks were great, their new guitarist is amazing and the various solos and jams were also extremely entertaining. The best part was to witness the band that wrote countless iconic rock classics perform them live and with just the right amount of updated personality to make them exciting. An excellent show.

  • Overall goos

by Tom. on 2024-09-01Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Show was good tickets were at good price, but food and drinks were ridiculously overpriced unbelievable a can of beer costs 16 dollars and above which I find atrocious. Otherwise sound and seating was fine.

  • Good Show

I like the show but having a show start as early as it did I missed some of Yes' songs.

  • Deep Purple: Timeless Rock Excellence

    by Matheus l on 2024-09-01Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Deep Purple delivered an outstanding performance that left me in awe. Their sound quality was impeccable, every note crisp and powerful. The band's chemistry on stage was undeniable, with each member showcasing exceptional skill. Ian Gillan's vocals were as strong as ever, and the guitar work was electrifying. The energy and passion they brought to the stage proved why they're rock legends. It's remarkable how they continue to perform with such precision and vigor, solidifying their status as one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

  • Underwhelmed

by Ladybird on 2024-09-01Rating: 2 out of 5

We were hyped to see Deep Purple. The guitarist and keyboardist were stellar but the lead singer underwhelmed. Aside from speaking well in between songs, his singing was unintelligible. He had awkward and uncomfortable stage presence, out of breath at times, leaving the stage during instrument solos (for oxygen!?). I don't think soundcheck could have made a difference. In contrast, YES, was totally enjoyable. We heard the lead vocals and music clearly. The screen art was interesting and calm, the volume was just right and the players had what felt like a cool and confident energy all while having fun. That was impressive.

  • Too much stage time for YES and no hit sings by Deep Purple

by Khatchik on 2024-09-01Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 3 out of 5

YES took way too much time on stage and Deep Purple did very little of their hit songs.

  • Deux groupes mythiques en même temps!!!

by GoRedge on 2024-09-01Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5
