Perhaps no other producer has contributed more to electronic dance music’s current ascendancy on Top 40 radio than David Guetta. Collaborating with everyone from Madonna to Lil Wayne, Guetta’s fusion of techno beats and pop hooks has been met with huge success, paving the way for a growing number of electronic dance acts at the top of the pop charts. Case in point is Guetta’s 2011 album Nothing But the Beat, which features an impressive array of collaborations including hit singles “Sweat” with Snoop Dogg and “Titanium” featuring Sia. 2009’s One Love was a similar success, featuring the international No. 1 “When Love Takes Over (feat. Kelly Rowland)” and earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Album. Guetta cut his teeth as a DJ playing some of Paris’s hottest clubs in the ‘90s before releasing his debut album Just A Little More in 2002. A string of successful productions and collaborations in the 2000s would ultimately earn Guetta two Grammys and land him at the top of DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs list in 2011. On tour in 2013, Guetta has been impressing ticket buyers with his interactive live concerts and extensive array of surprise guest performers.

Concert was amazing but they had 3 ticket prices and no sections for people who paid more... cool if you paid the least amount... not so much if you went for a higher ticket price thinking you were getting a better section.
One of the biggest problems I had with the concert was the fact that he was super late. He didn't even get there till 1130. They best parts of the concert was when he played his hits sexy chick and gettin over you. Other than that most of what he played was super old and I didn't recognize. Almost no lyrics throughout the concert. I was super pumped for the concert, but my hopes were in vain.
We had a great time at David Guetta. The light show was amazing and the base was intense. He played a bit of everything and it was a great atmosphere. He played from just after 11 till just after 2 and kept the crowd pumped the whole time.
So good. The venue needs more garbage cans/recycling for all the water bottles. The only annoying thing of the whole night was when you would dance and almost fall because you can't escape the seven or eight water bottles at your feet. Sound was awesome, screen behind DG was super cool. The men in light suits and laser pointers was awesome!

We paid for VIP tickets, the event was general admission, no need to pay $112 per ticket to get push around. Also we were told that we would get a Guetta gift bag for all VIP ticket holders, there was none! I started to call the club 4 weeks in advance to order bottle service, left many messages and didnt receive one phone call back, when getting too kool haus there were tables all set up for bottle service. David guetta rock the house but the venue sucked!!
He came on very late( Show started at 9 and he came on at 1) but he was awesome. Great energy and no celebrity attitude. He played for over 3 hours and didn't seem like he wanted the show to end!
David Guetta knows how to put on a show - fantastic concert! Still recovering from the dancing. My favorite thing is just how much he appears to love what he does, he looks like he's having a ball every second of the entire set. I would see him again for sure! Kool Haus was a pretty decent venue for him too.

I am not the biggest fan of techno/house music, so I was pleasantly surprised when I had a blast at David Guetta. It was sooo much fun, I danced the whole night away and I would recommend it to anyone. The only annoying part was when the tallest and sweatiest people decided to push us away from the front so we ended up at the back even though we showed up earlier so that we could be up closer.. not cool. But we had fun at the back too, less pushing.
Amazing! We need more of these kinds of events in Vancouver.
