  • Great Location, Inadequate Sound System

    It was a great lineup with a lot of pleasant experiences. I love The Commodore for its customer service, location and ambiance. It sorely needs a sound system upgrade however. If you're on the floor it's OK, but if you paid the new $100+ price for balcony seats you couldn't really hear the words to the song the band was singing.

    Buzzcocks "orgasm addict"poster framed above my bed for years dating prior to my marriage and the poster remains above my bed even in marriage so bringing my wife to see Buzzcocks and the Descendants was amazing. Both bands played perfect. Descendants haven't aged a day. So polished and true to their music. The punk is keeping them young and the Buzzcocks were unstoppable. One of the best guitar solos I've ever witnessed. An unforgettable memory

    The show was awesome! Old-school punk and they did a great job. When the security guard was unfortunately hurt they were respectable and stopped the show. Played all their best songs. I hope they come back again!

    It was an awesome experience, I had so much fun, they're still really good live. Milo went down the stage for Good Good Things, I'm The One and Thank You, and handed the microphone to the audience so they can sing along. I also got to see Milo and Stephen before the concert, they were really kind.

    Show was so great! Only complaints would be that as great as the Danforth Music Hall is (so close! love this venue), that sloped floor!! Myself and most of the crowd on the floor were mid 40's to 50's and we ALL ended up standing on one leg while rotating our sore legs and ankles at one point from standing on it LOL! Also...the lights were off for both openers and then they threw those lights on FULL and left them on for Descendents entire set--this killed the whole vibe!!! Was my husband's first show ever and his favorite band and those lights just kinda killed it.
