Fabulous Show...she looked wonder ful -....and still amazing
What a FANTASTIC lady & AWESOME show!! Her amazing voice & beautiful style only get better with time!!!
What a great trip down memory lane, it was like an evening with an old friend. Ms. Warwick is a true professional. The sound quality and selection of songs were spot on, my only wish was that it could have gone on a bit longer. We really enjoyed the whole evening.
Phenominal show!!! Had a great time.....only complaint i wish it was longer!!!!
I was so glad I had the opportunity to see Dionne in concert. She is one of a few "Oldies" whom I have not seen. All of her songs brought back so many memories of 40 years ago. Her voice has gotten better and she did not miss a note.
I think Ms. Warwick however entertaining she was, ruined the show when she scolded the audience for not acknowledging her band. I think it was rude on her part and embarrising to the band. Yes, Canadian audiences are a little cold but they have paid their money to see the artist and if their applause is not to the liking of the artist then she should refrain from entertaining Canadian audiences.
I enjoyed the show very much. She's really one of the greatest artists of all times! Her son is a great performer like his mom!
Took my dad because Dionne is his absolute favourite artist! Watching his eyes light up and hearing him sing ALL the words was PRICELESS!
This was perhaps the worst event we have viewed at casino Rama. She seemed like she was trying to stretch out the one hour and barely made it. Her god daughter was murded this week and the funeral was the same day. I googled the death and it was a terrrible event so I have to give her some slack as she shouldn't have been performing. I hope this was not an example of her show.
The magic has never disappeared and only continues to grow after almost 50 years. The love, the soaring spirit and intensity of the whole Dionne Warwick concert continues to blossom and in so many familiar ways as well as new and unexpected ways. You could feel the 2 way empathy and love between Dionne and the audience. How fortunate I was to experience this one more time. May I be blessed with many, many more Dionne Warwick concerts here in Ontario.
Brings us back to memory lane! The front line act was too long.... nice to have more of her instead. More interaction with the audience would have made the show livelier!
One of a kind. A truly exceptional singer. Still very elegant.
IT WAS A TERRIFIC SHOW. DIONNE IS A VERY LOVELY AND GRACEFUL ENTERTAINER. SHE MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU KNOW HER WHEN SHE TALKS TO THE AUDIENCE. WE ALSO, REALLY ENJOY HER SON DAVID'S PERFORMANCE. HE HAS A BEAUTIFUL VOICE AND EXTREMELY TELANTED. BOTH SINGER TOGETHER WERE WONDERFUL. WE SURELY WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM TOGETHER AGAIN NEXT TIME THEY ARE IN TOWN!
It started out being a very casual introduction about a drummer. The first part of the performance meant not seeing Dionne but I was not disappointed after a while when I realized what a great talent David Elliott is and my earlier thoughts disappeared and of course following in his footsteps was a fabulous performance by Dionne Warwick!
The show began with an introduction to her eldest son |David Elliott". He was an excellent singer and is quite similar to Luther VanDross. David sang for about 1/2 hour. He is also Dionne's oldest son! She came on and sang for just over 1 hour. It was a step through memory lane. However, she did switch up some of her more popular songs, which I would have preferred if sang the originals. But other than that, I really enjoyed the show. She looks great and sounds great too!
