With no disrespect meant to Frankie Valli, he should not be performing live anymore. We sat 4th row from the stage and it was quite clear that he lip synced most of the time and when he wasn't, his lips were barely moving. I get it - he's 90! I admire him for trying and for having such a wonderful career, but if he didn't have the 4 gentlemen up there with him, the show would have been nothing. Not sorry I went, just sad that those around him may not be being honest with him and how he appears when he is on stage.
I enjoyed the show because I like the music but, Frankie Valli is getting old and he was lip sinking through the whole show. Hard to watch when an artist ages and cannot move or sing on stage. Still I enjoyed the show.
I have loved Frankie Valli since is was a teenager (turning 60 next year) and I still love the music but it was heartbreaking to see him struggling on stage. Lip syncing all the songs. Not sure if he doesn’t remember the words anymore or just can’t keep up anymore. Maybe I wanted too much from the performance, for god sake he’s 90! What was I thinking! Anyway, I’m still glad I went and I still enjoyed the show and memories of my youth.
Lip synced but still a good show. He stood for the entire show...amazing for a 90 year old man. Only complaint was audio level too loud for the OLG fallsview theater. My ears were ringing the next day.
90 years old and still has it all! Was so happy to have been in the audience and relive so many memories his songs bring. The first song I ever heard by him was Sherry, I was maybe 7-8 yrs old and was so happy to have seen him preform it . My hubby and I had a most enjoyable evening , if you haven't seen him, you need too!! 😍 his band was great , such a wonderful bunch of performers, and all the Nostalgic photos at the beginning of his life, Epic!
Wow! This is what 90 should look like. Looks amazing and sounded even better. Such a great performer and concert! Truly astounding!
It wasn't until I was seated that I learned he was 90; expectations were quickly adjusted! Not a good idea to do close shots of Frankie during the first few numbers. Lip-sync and all that... But! It got better. It made me happy to hear all those songs from my yout'! I looked around at everybody and thought, "These are my people."We all enjoyed seeing a legend, hearing music that flooded us with memories. I'm grateful for that. Frankie, sweet man, it's time to stop singing. All the great backup on stage didn't help; it just made the contrast between effort and reality even more obvious.
OLG Niagara venue is great. Frankie should retire from the stage, it’s time!
Frankie is 90 years old now. He doesn’t sing at these shows; he stands there and they play tapes. We couldn’t believe that so many people would go to a show like this. The songs were great but it was all run from a recording. The OLG stage is a place I will never return to. There is really only one place to park(at the casino) and the price was $50. Even if you go to the casino to play machines for a little while it’s 50 bucks. What a rip off. I’ve never been to a place that seemed so outrageous for simple things like parking for a show. The walk from the parking to the show was about 20 minutes steady going. I can’t see this being a successful venue for shows because of these outlandish rates.
