Dirty Dancing in Concert Tickets

We had no idea as we entered the theatre how the tribute would be handled. Singing? Dancing? Dialogue? When we discovered that the complete movie would be shown on a large screen, with the major songs sung live on stage it was a magical trip back in time. I enjoyed seeing the movie again, because I knew how it would end, and I could just enjoy the acting. The live singing was very well done - big voices, good orchestra.

Was very surprised and disappointed that we were charged $85 a person to watch an old movie from 1987 . The singers were good but expected a musical and actual performance. Most disappointed jubilee show I have been to. Girls night out could have been in living room instead! Don’t recommend

The cast was great and very interactive. If you like the music of dirty dancing you would enjoy this.

You’re paying way too much money to watch a movie . The band was excellent but just not what I was hoping for

This was just watching the movie on a small screen with bad sound. The band would sing the songs when there was a song and then sit back down and we would watch the movie. We paid 73 dollars for second balcony to watch a movie that I have seen a 100 times. Very misleading

I had no idea what the show was to be about and was so very pleasantly surprised by it! Seeing much of the movie again was unexpected and wonderful! Music was fantastic. The band and the vocalists were so incredibly good! The 'dance party' afterwards was fun and energetic! Highly recommend it!! Great evening all around!

The movie itself is a classic and to add the live orchestra and vocals just made it that much better! The audience interaction was awesome

We were sitting in the first balcony beside 2 women and behind 2 men who talked and were yelling throughout the whole 2nd half, so it was incredibly hard to hear both the movie and band.

As someone who loves the film - this was just okay! The band and singers were phenomenal (although I wished they danced more)…they have beautiful talent….it was so hard to hear them though. The volume/treble was unbelievably loud, making it hard to hear the singers and making it unenjoyable. I understand having to balance the sound with the film Vs performers….but it was all too loud and sharp. Anyways - it make for a nice night out!

I was so disappointed in the Dirty Dancing event on Friday. The sound system was terrible and the band and singers were not great either. We left at intermission. This event was not typical of the many performances I have attended at the Jubilee. It was not worth the money.

I was very disappointed in this venue as I thought it was actually going to be more like a play, the singing was very nice but I could have just watched the movie at home.

It was a lot of money to watch a movie! I wouldn’t recommend.

Great show! Music was muted in the movie and a live band and singers performed all of it. What an awesome idea! And the after party was such a surprise! Totally unexpected! Band and singers were amazing!!!

I loved it the play the music with a live band while play the movie loved it was so fun grab some drinks and snacks and enjoy the show will do it again!!!!

This was not at all what we expected. Basically, you are watching the movie with singers. From time to time, the band stands up and gives you a sedated version of the song playing in the movie. Even the singers were boring, standing still at the mikes not even moving. We were disappointed to pay this much money to basically have the movie accompanied by high school karaoke singers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Not sure what our expectation of the show was, but it exceeded it by far. Watching the movie again and listening to the music live was incredible, the singers were spectacular, the musicians awesome, the interactiveness of this experience is one that will not be forgotten too soon. The after party was icing on the cake. Great show, awesome experience!

The movie Dirty Dancing was playing on a small movie screen, not suitable for the venue. While the movie was playing a live orchestra was playing the movie sound track in order. It would have been better if the screen was bigger since we were sitting in the upper balcony. The musicians and singers were good.

My mom and I were both shocked to experience the movie playing in the back of the stage and the singers sitting in stools and only getting up to perform some songs from the movie. Truthfully, we couod have watched the movie and enjoyed the music from the comfort if iur own homes. For the cost of the tickets, we were expecting a play/live performance and so singing... not looking at a large screen on a dark stage. The show was not worth the cost of the tickets, drive to and from the show and our two $3.00 bottles of water.

Not what we excepted for the price. Thought the show was going to be more like Pretty Women.
