  • Disney Princess Live

by Anonymous on 2012-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great and my daughter just loved it. It was just too bad it was only 90 min with a 15 minute intermission, I would of preffered it to be longer for the money I spent. But over all the the costumes were great, they looked just like the actual cartoon characters. I would take my daughter again for sure.

  • Three Classic Fairy Tales - fun for princesses!

The story lines, costuming, dancing and songs were all geared towards a young audience of princesses! Well done.

  • Disappointed.....

I was disappointed with the Disney Live! show. I took a 3 y.o. to the play - she was terrified of some of the scenes, and she was by no means the youngest child there. Some of the "scary" parts were highly over done - took dark, too loud, too over the top. Perhaps Disney should have thought about who their target audience was?!?! I was also thoroughly annoyed by the ladies in front of me who insisted on taking pictures throughout the play, despite being asked MULTIPLE TIMES by the usher to stop. VERY distracting.

Absolutely wonderful. My daughter and I loved the show. The scene with Snow White's step mother and the mirror was a little scary for a lot of the children though. However, overall a fantstic performance

  • Good show for your princesses at home

by FunnyMom on 2012-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Show is pretty good for girls who love the princesses. I like the way that Mickey and other characters connect with the audiences, and how things are magically tied together like the "story book" and the "rose with falling pedals" on the two sides of the stage. While the story lines are original, I do find the music less dramatic than expected, may have to do with sound effect in Rogers Centre. However, I am impressed at how they get the characters changed outfits during the show, e.g. Cinderella changed into the pretty blue dress, beast changed into prince.

Great show for younger children (3 to 5 is probably best target audience).

  • disney three classic fairytales....really cute!

    by tommy22 on 2012-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I took my daughter to the Disney Three Classic Fairy Tales. She was thrilled with Mickey and Minne and the classic Disney characters. Her favourite was Snow WHite because of the dwarves. The stories seemed quick but the characters were wonderful and felt like we could have been at Disney World. At the end when all the sparkly things floated down my daughters eyes just lit up! Really well done and a great afternoon!

  • Greed

by MrDel on 2012-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing and my grand daughter loved it. The only concern is the cost of toys etc. What would be the reason to charge $20 of an item you sell at Disney for $7. Is it just greed.

  • Excellent Show!

    by Fancypants22 on 2012-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was a fantastic show, I took my 5 year old neice and she was in awe from start to finish! The length of show was perfect, with a nice short intermissioin timed well. The only downside was I did not know the skywalk was closed for construction so we had a very long, very cold (was minus 21 that morning) walk outside to the actual venue from Union Station we had not anticipated. But the show itself was excellent, costumes and props were exceptional!

  • Princesses were great!

Enjoyed the whole show. My granddaughter was thrilled. I will say the price of merchandise was a bit pricey however.

Excellent show!!! I brought my 2 & 4 year old daughters and both sat still for the entire show (which is a feat in itself!). The stories were great, Mckey and Minnie were awesome additions, and the costumes were exquisite. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone with Princess-loving kids!!!

  • Disney Quality

    by Oktober690 on 2012-01-16Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

As a vetran of both Disneyland and a Disney Cruise, my expectations for Disney's quality level are pretty high. I had seen stage productions on our cruise and was impressed enough to order tickets for this event. Although the staging, costumes, stories and entertainment value for kids was there, I was disappointed that the entire show is a voice over of a pre-recorded soundtrack. I was hoping for live singing. I understand that some of the voice overs were to add authenticity as they appeared so be the actual actors who voiced the roles in the film. For example, Angela Landsbury's original lines for Mrs. Pots, but the expectation was a live show with live perfromances. Still, my daughter was throughly pleased and enjoyed every minute, so in the end it was worth the price of the tickets.

  • Makes you feel like a kid again!

by Anonymous on 2012-01-16Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Disney Live show was awesome. My 5 year old really enjoyed it. It was a family day out that brought you back to your own days as a child. Costumes, make up, stage props were all well put together and beautiful. All the fairy tales were good, but the best one (in my child's eyes) was Beauty and the Beast.

  • alittle scary, but good

by Roubs on 2012-01-16Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

My 5 year old girl just loved every minute. My 3 year old was alittle scared at times. Overall the play was amazing and the costumes and props were very good. Good story telling and acting. We would definitly recommend this production. Only thing i would suggest with is for viewers. To make sure that the children know the stories from home first so they won't be scared of the bad mothers and queens..est.
