  • Good show

by Rayven on 2012-01-16Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

My family really enjoyed the show. The costumes were great. We liked the dancing. Really not a fan of the lip syncing. Would have been MUCH better with live voices. The witch/old woman in snow White was pretty scary. Gaston in Beauty and the Beast was bang on!

  • Our daughter is asking to go again already

    by Anastasia103 on 2012-01-16Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show with great sets, costumes, and special effects. Our whole family enjoyed it and we will be looking to return again next year. Our only small complain was regarding the food at Rogers center, there are hardly any healthy alternatives.

  • Disney does it again

We have attended a number of shows at the Roger's Centre in Toronto and our experience with the Disney shows is always great. The production value, the story line, costumes, and adherence to the original storyline was all tremendous. Our little girl had a wonderful time and could not stop talking about Cinderella, Snow White and Belle. Looking forward to Disney doing the same thing for Jasmine, Mulan and Ariel.

  • Cheap production show

by biggoofy on 2012-01-16Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Not comparable with Disney on Ice etc. Trying to rush 3 fairy tales in 1 hour.

  • by mamas on 2012-01-16Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

My 5 years old girl and 3 years old boy love the show! They sit still for the whole time. I prefer it more than Disney on Ice because the kids can see the characters easier and listen to what they said. But it may be bothering for adult.

My daughter (4 years old) and I loved it. It was an amazing show and it kept my daughter's interest the whole time. Well Done Disney!!!

  • Three Classic Fairy Tales

by DisneyDaughter on 2012-01-16Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I would like to suggest Two Classic Fairy Tales, and add in more of the adventure to make up the time. I (we, I had my four year old with me) found the stories played out too quickly, and left out some fun details. Also, during intermission (between the two Saturday Shows), gasoline was spilled from the leaf blowers used to clean up the Rogers Centre, we had to deal with the unpleasant aroma of gas / oil fumes for the entire show - Not a pleasant experience.

My niece loved this show! I wasn't sure if she would enjoy it because she has moved beyond the Princess "phase" but I was pleasantly surprised! I found that it was the perfect length for children and that the intermission was well timed to prevent them from getting restless. Overall it was a great time :)

  • Disney Live was Fantastic!

    by tigger2on on 2012-01-15Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Highly entertaining, action packed... Loved it! It was a Mommy and daughter outing for her upcoming birthday and she was so excited before, during and after the performance. The costumes were so colorful and the chorus was so animated. There was this one actor in the tavern scene whose expressions were priceless and had me in tears almost laughing...

  • Not worth the money

    by mommy511 on 2012-01-15Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Very colorful yes! But the place was so big and very desorganizad ... It would be ok if the tickets would be $20.

  • The Dwarfs were the best

by Rednersville on 2012-01-15Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Disney Live Classic Fairy tales was great. Very well done. Some parts were a bit scary for the very young children. The volume was quite loud and mixed with the thunder and lightening, many of the children had their ears covered. Costumes were amazing. A good time

  • Three Classic Cash Grabs

by LousyAct on 2012-01-03Hamilton Place Theatre - HamiltonRating: 3 out of 5

Though the stage, costumes, and overall actors performances were of high Disney quality, the show is basically a lip sync and opportunity to sell overpriced merchandise that is worthless (not even souvenir worthy---just flashy, trashy junk). Despite the actors' best energy, the fact that they aren't really performing, say, like in a stage version of Beauty and the Beast, takes a bit away from the show. Also, the audience was ridiculous!! It felt like I was sitting in a playroom, that just happened to have a live show happening in the corner. People and their kids were acting like they were at a Jungle Gym, filming the show and each other as if there were no "real" people on stage or other patrons. Absolutely disrespectful. All in all, my daughter did enjoy it, but the whole experience was not worth it.
