  • Not as good as other Disney shows

    by betty232323 on 2011-12-30Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

We saw another Disney on Ice show a couple of years ago featuring Disney Princesses which was a lot more entertaining. 100 Years of Magic showcased a lot of different characters which would appeal to both boys and girls (which is a positive) but because there were so many, the stories they told weren't very detailed. My children loved the costumes, lights, and pyrotechnics. It is a fun activity for the family however, I might check out another Disney on Ice story in the future.

  • A show for all ages.

by Nory on 2011-12-30Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was a mural of some of the best disney shows ever made and for one brief moment, you are reminded of the best things in life. As expected, the Lion King was the most eagerly awaited and was warmly received by the audience.

  • Better than Disney Live!

by Astrogal on 2011-12-30Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I went to the Disney Live show at the Rogers Centre last year and found the Disney on Ice show this year to be a much more entertaining and better value. If you have to pick just one show, then this should be it. The other show had limited characters and poor acting, however this show is entertaining enough because they are all on ice skates! In addition, there are tons of characters to suit all ages and genders - all of the Disney Princesses and their Princes make an appearance, there was also Pinocchio, Toy Story, Lion King, Finding Nemo, even It's a Small World from the Magic Kingdom attraction. And of course, Mickey and Minnie and friends. Lots of colour, music, dancing, and skating are sure to keep the kids (and adults!) entertained. Some of the characters make fleeting appearances, while others are featured. For instance, in the show I went to they featured Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Finding Nemo, Pinocchio, the Incredibles, Mulan, and the Lion King stories. Mind you, due to time constraints, they gloss over whole chunks of the story, and may even take some creative license with the re-telling. There is a 20 minute intermission in the show and it really goes by quite fast.

Very few really good skaters. Don't go unless it's for your kids.

  • disney on ice

    by ourfamilyof4 on 2011-12-30Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

A great show that my 6-year old loved and my 23-month old really enjoyed too -- his first 'show' and it held his attention the whole time! Only complaint ... the exorbitant Disney pricing at the concession stands. Popcorn for $8 ... really??!? And bottled water at almost $5 a small bottle? That was irksome, otherwise a great time.

It was a wonderful performance and my 5 year daughter was enthralled with the Princess dances and with Mickey & Minnie! I was taken back to my childhood and we are really excited to see the next Disney show in March!

Great show for both girls and boys. My two princesses 5 and 3 thought it was perfect. A great reminder of our trip last year to Disney World. Two thumbs up! Can't wait for Dare to Dream in March.

  • Disney On Ice -- Fantastic

by Anonymous on 2011-12-29Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This show was up to the Disney standard, which is to say GREAT!! Everybody you wanted to see was there and the skating was, as usual, very professional. The variety of different acts was good too. Unless you completely hate Disney, this show is very worthwhile seeing. Just make sure you eat before you go, the concession prices are outrageous!!

  • Disney on Ice was beautiful

This day I been on show together with my grandchildren who like so much Disney production. I belive the kindness of the all cartoons and Disney moves get the good sample for my kids and teens. Thank you very much for unforgettable scenes and professional artistic figure skiting. We are waiting of the new meetings with Disney Magic in Toronto.

My grandson was facinated by the costumes and songs.

  • by Lame45 on 2011-12-29Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Much better than last year's Toy Story 3 on Ice. Many characters, stories and more entertaining though the second half, seems as usual, was a little less exiting than the first half.

I brought my two grandaughters and they had a ball of a time. I myself had fun, Disney on Ice is not just for kids . Just looking at my little darlings face when they saw all the princesses made me so happy.I wiold definately repeat this show.

  • Average show

    by 5girls on 2011-12-29Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

the whole show was just average. Nothing really spectacular.....average. Kids under 3 should just not go to these shows..had a 2 year old behind me who kicked my seat through out the show ..even after telling his Mom twice that he was doing it. Beside them was another Dad with a 2 yr old on his knee who was asking the whole show..Who is that? and the Dad was answering every time. I would have rather sat up in the nose bleed seats and had peace and quiet to watch the show!!
