    Disney Means Magical

by MooseFamily on 2011-12-28Rogers Centre - Toronto

As is usual with Anything Disney, Disney on Ice was Magical! I Loved that Pinocchio was "played." It truly took ME back and allowed me to revel in the Magic as well... AND THE ELECTRICAL PARADE!!! MAGNIFICENT!! Though I did notice it was lost on many who have not lived it... Overall, it was Beautiful!

    Disney on ice

by Mrell on 2011-12-28Rogers Centre - Toronto

Absolutely amazing, costumes were spectacular. My family can't really afford to go to disneyworld, so this is like bringing a little Disney to them!

The show was spectacular. The prices for the concession stand were outrageous.

    The kids loved it

by LindseyM on 2011-12-28Rogers Centre - Toronto

The kids loved especially my youngest one (4). My son (7) big fan of stitch so that was his highlight of the show. Over all it is definantly a show for the younger ones or the ones young at heart.

    Good and Bad

by Anonymous on 2011-12-27Rogers Centre - Toronto

I thought Disney on Ice was fun and creative. I loved seeing so many characters and watching the short stories of classic movies. Overall the performance was good and that much I would recommend. I wish, however, that more fun songs were performed instead of the slow songs for example, Just can't wait to be king - Lion King or Under the Sea - Little Mermaid. As for the the Rogers Center where the performance was hosted... Absolutely do not recommend going there. The food was horrible and way over priced. Could not find a decent coffee nor was I allowed to make it myself. The seating is only big enough for children to be comfortable. We were all jammed together which was distracting and unpleasant.

    Very good show, but....

by PerotClan on 2011-12-27Rogers Centre - Toronto

Overall a good show, and our 2.5 year old had a lot of fun. We sat in Row 2 of the West VIP. CAUTION: a lot of VIP seats are actually just behind the sets and you can miss things if you're seat number is high e.g. over 30. Don't expect any fantastic stunts or displays of skating skills, but the show in its entirety kept our daughter happy. She was able to go up and meet with several characters as they skated over to shake her hand and say hi. Nice finishing touch. Would go again, recommend centre over east/west for sure.

Absolutely amazing!!! Although the majority of the audience was children, the performance was very enjoyable for all ages.

    Disney On Ice was lovely

by JUGE on 2011-12-27Rogers Centre - Toronto

Took my grand-daughter(4) and daughter to the show in Toronto. Costumes and music were lovely and effective.Lighting was also an attraction. Sound was awful- did not clealry hear spoken words- perhaps too much talking? Constructive feedback: show should be varied a bit.Typical scenario- main character(s) appear, then skate. Some variety has to be added, especially for today's audience. Technology, screens, some live music- perhaps characters entering from different places; some enhancement needed. Today''s children encounter the technological world very early- this show needs to keep up with the times a bit better. Other shows have met the 21st century- this show needs to follow suit. Tickets were expensive- show was a 100th celebration- show was `dated``- did expect more for spending close to $400.00!

    Disney On Ice...so-so...

by madismom on 2011-12-26Rogers Centre - Toronto

Kids were excited to go, we were initially a bit disappointed with the size of the "rink" and wondered how they could pull off a show on such a small rink. Surprisingly, they did! Skating was so-so, several flubs but of course they pulled it together. The kids loved the Nemo sequence and It's A Small World but got bored with the long Mulan number and Pocahontas segment. $12 for each baggie of cotton candy that had a souvenir on it, tons of toys available at the kiosks. Glad that we went but not impressive enough to make it a yearly thing.

    Cheap

by Peagasus on 2011-12-26Rogers Centre - Toronto

I took my daughter, son and a friend to see this as I thought it would be spectacular coming from Disney! I was wrong. We had excellent seats on the field but I think we were too close. The costumes looked cheap from where we were. Trying to cram 100 year of Disney movies into a short time was a mistake. The kids were getting upset because there was just too much FLASHING by them. For a child it is hard to catch all the characters when they are on for a second. The production was just too busy! There was more enjoyment with the Disney Princess production as it was focused on the Princess stories for the same length of time rather than flashes of characters. There were a few falls, but it was the first night for the show. I wouldn't waste my money even for the *Experience* as the children just seemed more frustrated with it. Not to mention the prices for EVERYTHING was outrageous! $12 for cotton candy, $7 for stale cold popcorn, $8 for a flavorless snow cone! Ridiculous!!!

    Inappropriate language

by Nothappywithit on 2011-12-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

I was very upset when incredibles were on the ice and they started singing smth along the lines: your suit is too SEXY for you. That's not appropriate for 5-6 year old girls I took to the show. Shame on you!
