    Daughter Loved It!

by Anonymous on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

My nine year old loved it!!! Was amazed at the pace...no stoppage of action. Shortened story, but didn't lose too much - except maybe the Aladdin and Mulan. Loved them all coming out at the end. Prices of stuff being sold (popcorn, cotton candy, snocones) were fairly expensive. Better to lower your price and sell in volume instead of making all your money off 3 sales!

    Heartwarming

by Stanne on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

The show was heartwarming for anyone who enjoys the Disney Princesses ~ for adults and children alike. The skating was superb, the stories enjoyable. Little girls dressed up like Princesses completed the event.

    Spectacular Show!

by PRINCESSMOM on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

Disney On Ice Princess Classics was an amazing show! Well worth the ticket price. It lasts 2 hours with a short intermission, which is perfect. The costumes were unbelivably detailed, and was definately Disney quality and style. The light show was great, especially Ariel's scene. Also, it's amazing how well the skaters can move in bulky costumes. My daughters(6 and 4) were entranced the entire time, and they want to go again next year. People who had front row actually had interactions with some of the characters, and the characters also included the rest of the audience in their parts of their performance as well. The only downside are the prices of the souveniers. Expect to pay 3x as much than the item is actually worth in a store(like Disney Store). But we got a colouring book for $5(not bad), and a rainbow snow cone in a reusable Cinderella mug for $12(ok). Boys will like it too, as there a lot of characters they would enjoy watching such as the Princes, Genie, Sebastian etc...Take your kids! It's Awesome! No one will be disappointed!

    Disney on Ice

by Itsccn on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

No Wow factor. Skating was very slow. Not much exciting stuff. Wouldn't spend the money again. Note: it is not presented by Disney.

    Awesome Ice Show

by grammapat on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

The whole show was absolutely great. The costumes, lighting, skating, props and general show was great for my daughter, two grandchildren and myself. It moved at a good pace and the girls were never bored. Actually, the were quite entranced with the whole show. They knew the story lines and the songs and "loved the show". They asked if they could see it again. We had no problem parking. The prices of the "Disney" souveniers were reasonable. The show was better than I has expected and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

    Princess Classics worth seeing

by Zepher on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

Show was enjoyable. Took two granddaughters and one grandson (ages 3 to 5) and they had a good time except grandson seemed to lose interest in the second half. While show was about princesses, if part had been more boy oriented, it might have been better.

    Disney Princess was entertaining

by puzzles on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

Although the title suggests princesses and perhaps would deter some parents of boys from going there was lots to entertain both little princesses and princes. I took my 4 grandsons. Music was fabulous. Skaters did a great job. Loved the number with the skaters holding lances and meshing through each other as well as the precision skating. Great skill in weaving the important parts of the unforgetable stories we all know and love.

    Disney on Ice was Great!

by Ween on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

It was a great show for the kids...my son wasn't into the princess stuff too much, but I already knew that would happen when I bought the tickets. The seats were awesome, 3rd row, right up front, but the area we were in was too close to the stage and to see the whole show would have been better down at one of the ends. To get the full effect. But, 3rd row was great! Would go again but with other children unless it was targeted to all kids and not just girls. Can't wait until the next show...now comes Stars on Ice...yeah!

    True Disney Magic!

by momtothree on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

I took my 4-year-old daughter to see the Princess Classics Disney on Ice production and was thoroughly impressed. The show is perfectly paced for a younger audience and full of magical moments that both young and old will enjoy. Disney never fails to impress and this awesome show is a testament to that!

    Great Performance

    by mummy101 on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

We took our almost 5 year old little girl to see the show. The show itself was amazing. The whole production was so well put together! The costumes were amazing and the skaters were phenomenal. Everything was so well co-ordinated. My daughter was so excited and loved to see all her favourite performances. A very very awesome production, we will definitely go again to see another Disney On Ice.

Princess Classics a hit with my twins

    by twinmommy1973 on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

The set was amazing, the skating was entertaining and sometimes breathtaking. One twin wasn't feeling well, but the other was on the edge of her seat with her eyes aglow. They really did their best to make us believe there were fish and horses on the ice. Cinderella's coach was awe inspiring. The only drawback was the merchandise. Snowcones for $15??? In a molded plastic cup? Lemonade likewise for $10. A large bag of cotton candy with one Mouse eared crown was $10 and you couldn't buy the crown without the candy, or vice versa. We had to deal with a 30 minute or more temper tantrum because we wouldn't buy a snowcone.

    Loved Disney on Ice

by AllyBear on 2010-03-21Copps Coliseum - Hamilton

We thought the show was fantastic! We did think that 100 Years of Disney on Ice that we saw last year was better, but we brought my son and perhaps the princesses didn't catch his attention as much. The first part of the show captured his attention and he loved The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast segments. The show was a bit slower or calmer after the intermission, which can be hard for young kids to maintain their attention. The staff at Copps Coliseum were extremely nice and helpful. We arrived late due to a problem and we were surprised by how personable and concerned they were. You would never get that kind of help and good service at the ACC in Toronto. We love events in Hamilton.

Thank you for such a fantastic show! It gave us great joy to see happiness shine through our 3 yr old daughter as she took in each classic tale, on ice!
