Disney's High School Musical Tickets

I was quite disappointed with this show. We paid $45 for each ticket and barely got an hour of entertainment. I was at least expecting some actual talent. Instead, the soundtracks from the movie were played and the cast simply lip synched and danced (basically using the exact choreography from the movie). The souvenier stand was sold out before the show even started, resulting in a lot of disappointed boys an girls. The only good thing I can say is the cast looked amazingly like the movie characters, which I guess is easier when you don't have to worry about if they can sing. Although one of the back up dancers was showing a bald spot, making it hard to believe he was in high school.

I was a bit dissapointed with the length of the concert it was advertised at 3 hours. The show did not start until after 7pm then there was a 20 min intermiton and everybody was out the door by 8:30. The kids were dissapointed that even though we were at the concert an hour early all of the souveniers were pretty much sold out.

Was an enjoyable experience. The kids seemed to enjoy it immensely, The characters have a huge resembles to the original cast. Only downside was that the production crew did not bring in enough memorabilia so quite a few left empty handed

I took my girls ages 6 and 9 to the show last night. Both of them really enjoyed the show. The dancers were FANTASTIC and of course all the kids there knew every word to each song. The show was quite interactive, keeping the children engaged with trivia and chances to sing and dance etc. We were very disappointed in the SMALL booth selling HSM souvenirs and tshirts etc. There was a mob scene around this before the show and they sold out of everything very quickly. Apparently they didn't foresee so many fans wanting their memoribilia. Also the tickets were very expensive for such a short show (about an hour and 15 or 20 minutes) $50. (15 minutes after the "1/2 time" intermission, the show ended??? What's with the hokey intermission? Not like there was anything left to buy at that time anyways. Overall, the kids enjoyed it though. More for the little ones.

Great dancing, average lip singing, pricey and too short.

I was thinking this show was going to be a lot better than it was. There was no real singing, it was very noticably lip-synced. The lighting on the stage was absolutely terrible! The entire left front corner was not lit at all, so any time the dancers were over there, they were in the dark. It was very low budget and not worth the money in my opinion. My 9 year old daughter enjoyed herself, so that was what really mattered in the end. So from an adult perspective: they definitely could have stepped it up a notch, but the kids still enjoyed it. I just really think it was the type of thing you could see the local church put on or a highschool drama club... not very professional looking.

Although my 5 year old daughter enjoyed it, I thought the show was overpriced for what we received. The actual show was only about 1 hr 10 mins, and we paid $45+ per ticket. Not much in the way of a stage or props. Just ok for me, have seen better productions by the local college, for 1/2 the price.

The singing and dancing was very good. But very upset with the souvenir table only had two people working, people were not lined up properly. They sold out of items very fast and did not have change to make to people.

My 8 year old and her friend came with me to the HSM celebration. Yes it was good in the fact that there was dancing and it was hyped up. There wasn't much of a story and and think the lip synced the entire time. I fell the price was too much for a 1 1/2 hour show(including the 20 minute intermission). I would not pay that much to see it again.

If you have children who love all 3 High School Musical movies they have to see this musical. The singers are always interacting with the audience and the kids just loved them. A great family event.

It was high energy and well done! Great involvement with the audience! Just a joy to watch!

Good dancing and energy by the cast. Length was good but hard to believe the could not find a cast that could sing. Too bad they were lip singing every song, and poorly at that!

I was so dissapointed in the show last night. There was no set changes through-out and the costumes were terrible. For example, when they were all dressed up for the "prom" number, Chad was in a white tux with a brown shirt, not the purple colors that are in the movie and it didn't even say Danforth on the back. My kids noticed this right away. They didn't sing very many songs and for the $50.00 per ticket that I paid, I would like to have that back. It was terrible for a Disney production.

Seeing High School Musical live was amazing. The energy was incredible. I would definitely go again or recommend it for anyone to see.

I thought the performance was amazing! The dancing was incredible. I did find the performance a bit loud but maybe that was because of the seats we were in. The audience was totally engaged in the performance and you could hear people singing and moving throughout the evening. It was fun how the characters engaged the audience in the performance. Too bad the dancers didn't actually sing the songs but lip-sincked.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL was so amazing!! What a wonderful show those young people put on. Soooo much work put forth. Great Show!!!!! Our kids loved it!!!

The Musical was good - the performers were really talented dancers....My son spent the whole night saying that they were lipsyncing, and honestly I think they were. In my opinion the tickets were a bit overpriced.

WE LOVED IT!!...My Dad (who has never seen any of the HSM movies) thought it was great!!..Catchy songs,great performances!...well worth staying out late on a school night!

My 2 young daughters and my mom and i went and saw the show and it was very entertaining and a great show! Perfect time (1 1/2 hrs long!). GO see it!!

For the price of the tickets I personally felt the show was just average. My eight year old daughter loved it so it was worth going. We were at Keith Urban the night before and we got way more bang for our buck at that concert and the tickets were comparable in price.
