by Sineadbd on 2014-11-28Guelph Concert Theatre - Guelph

OMG where do I start. All bands where amazing Black Jack Billy and The Roadhammers rocked together!!!! Natural Born Entertainers!!! Tom Hicks showed up too!!! Seeing him next week with Dierks Bentley. Black Jack Billy are sick!!! Really enjoyed my night with them. The Road Hammers are the ideal companion for the bands. Would have gone next night if did 2 nights, looking at where thry are next!!! Well worth spending my cash to see! Just wish my kids could go. Needed to be -19 venue too

    Excellent, totally fun evening!

by LeeF on 2014-11-28Guelph Concert Theatre - Guelph

Thoroughly enjoyed this concert! Blackjack Billy opened, they were so much fun and you could see and share in the great time they were having on stage. I would have loved it if they'd had a longer set; I bought their cd and had it autographed. They were joined by Tim Hicks for 2 songs which was also great. Doc Walker performed next, I do really like them, they are a lot of fun and we've travelled all over Ontario to see them perform over the past several years. The Roadhammers were also very good, lots of talent and high energy there and great interaction with the crowd. Highly recommend this concert if you can catch it.

Dallas smith was incredible, saw him at the bob Seger concert a few weeks before and he was the reason I went to rainmaker. Would go to any show whether performs! Simply incredible voice and super positive with the crowd.

    Doc Walker

by Bren on 2011-12-13Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

I really enjoyed the Doc Walker concert. We stood right at the front of the stage all night long and really enjoyed their performances. They are full of energy and my favourite songs that they sang were From Here and Driving with the brakes on. I have seen them many times and they always give 100%. Can't wait to see them again soon.

    A pleasant surprise

by Jack234 on 2011-12-07Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

To be honest, I wasn't all that familiar with Doc Walker heading into the concert. I bought the tickets for my girlfriend (because I knew she was a fan) and ended up going with her. I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm not a big country fan, but the songs were heart-felt (for the most part) and both the lyrics and performance were excellent. I haven't heard the studio version of most of the songs, but I can say that Doc Walker really delivers a strong vocal and instrumental performance, which is rare these days. I can honestly say I am now a Doc Walker fan and will continue to listen to their music. Excellent performance!

    Doc rocks my world!!

by keithroadiewannaB on 2011-12-05Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

Every time I go to their show, I love them more!! I was not disappointed once again. Even my husband, daughter and her bf absolutely loved the show and were amazed (occasional country music fans) that they knew and loved all the songs. And could sing along!!! If I was younger, I'd definitely be a groupie following Doc Walker on tour :)

    Disappointing Show

by SanH on 2011-12-05Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

My friend and I were sorry to see that this show was no near as good as the one we saw last year. Don't know if t was because they had been performing in the afternoon or maybe it was because they were being taped by the CBC, but there wasn't the cosiness that we felt with the one before where they showed a lot of their background with pictures and stories. This time it was just continuous music with almost nothing in between. So it lost a lot of the magic that I have always associated with Doc Walker. I am a huge fan but I don't know if I would think of going to one of their show anytime soon. Very sad..... l

Doc Walker - Sound Art Mix was average

by audioangel on 2011-12-05Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

The material was very good but audio quality was high decibel and very compressed sounding, particularly in the first set. The blow up inflatable Santa that "danced" behind the stage monitors , you could see the two roadies shaking it to the few christmas songs they played, this was not what I paid for, I wanted original Doc Walker songs, not rock n' roll christmas classics that has "been there-done that" all over it. The second set was better in quality material and sound quality as the person at the mixer tuned in to the act and the house acoustics. All in all a very good concert but with some shortcomings. The vertical speaker arrays suspended on either side of the stage opening proscinium blocked much of the drummer view and the very bright stage vari-lites blasted me in the eyes a lot.

DOC WALKER PUT ON A GREAT SHOW!!

by Nipper1 on 2011-12-05Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

Doc Walker was awesome, they play all their hits and three Christmas Carols for the holidays. It would have been more enjoyable at the MTS Centre where you could get up and dance. We missed the crowd's energy and the dancing to their great songs.

    Best band in Canada

    by AL50 on 2011-12-05Pantages Playhouse - Winnipeg

Saw Doc Walker at the Panatages Playhouse on Saturday December 3 in Winnipeg, MB. I haven’t seen them live since October 2009, in the two plus years they have matured into the best band in Canada. They were note perfect for most of the night. Chris has become the premiere male vocalist in Canada. His vocals and range were not for believing this night. On the melancholy of That Train he sang with emotion, there was a sense of urgency on the newest single Gonna Do It Right, and you were in one place at the start of Beautiful Life then ended up in other by the end of the song. Murray is a guitar god with a capital G. The rest of the band, Dave, Steve, and Brent kept it real with great rhythm and timing. A musical savvy crowd was treated to a great evening of musicianship and professionalism.

Doc Walker is worth EVERY PENNY to go see!!!!!!

by DocStalker on 2011-11-26Cowboys Ranch - London

These are the most amazing bunch of guys!! They sing, they harmonize beautifully, they write their own tunes, they even have the Canadian Country Music Awards Drummer of the Year as part of their band! They are awesome to their fans! Everyone needs to see these guys live! Once you do, you have to go back for more!
