Don McLean Tickets

I saw Don McLean a couple of years ago in Victoria, B.C. He was playing in an old church that had been converted into a music hall (the Alix Goolden Performance Hall) and it was a magical concert! Although he played really well and had a great band with him on Jan. 28th, the venue was not great. It was the 1st time I had been to a concert at River Cree Resort and will most likely never go back there. It is really just a large room with a concrete floor and a tent-like structure covering it. The sound quality is not good and this really took away from what really should have been a great concert. Should have been held at the Arden, Winspear or the Jubilee...

It was a pleasure to see Don McLean. I am disappointed that one had to pay in order to get an autograph.... Guess that divorce is costing a pretty penny.

Absolutely one of the best concerts I have ever been to. We sat front row centre and it was a bit awkward as it seemed like he could see us so we tried to smile obsessively to show we were enjoying it. Great and fantastic show though!

Awesome singer, great voice (still), very good songs!
