    Dora was Fun

by MuM22 on 2013-12-03Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Kids thoroughly enjoyed watching Dora. The set was bright and lively and the story carried through just like their favourite show. Children were provided with 'stars' to hold up to help the cast during the performance, offering some involvement with the characters.

Incredible time, seats were a little pricey for the view and the show could hsve been a half hour longer or so, but overall it was very fun

    Not worth it the buck!

by Neomaxmaya on 2013-12-02Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The show is a performed episode on the stage. YES THAT'S IT!! nothing special, nothing new, nothing exclusive! no musical orchestra or any live performance, all are recorded and characters are dancing on music.

    Definitely worth it!

    by Chantal488 on 2013-11-30Sony Center - Toronto

I was a little worried when I had looked at the reviews beforehand.. a lot of people said the intermission was long and that most kids lost interest and that it was a poor production but I gotta tell you... IT WAS GREAT! Me and my son went all out - we got the VIP treatment so we had the pre-show Party and got to meet Dora and Diego .. they had little gift bags for everyone (me included) and had a play area and had loads of tables lined up with juices and water and lots of coloring pages and crayons. He had a blast. We made our way to the show and everyone went off without a hitch.. the intermission was not that long... all the kids played with each other so they kept themselves busy. I even enjoyed the show. Definitely worth it and I'm glad I brought my son to the show - he'll remember it forever I'm sure.

    Dora Live! great experience

by BKDG on 2013-11-05Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I took my son who is not quite 3 to Dora. It was his first live event so I wasn't sure what to expect or how he would react. He LOVED it! He was excited when I told him we were going but when he saw the colorful stage he was beyond excited. It held his attention all the way through and he sang, shouted and clapped along the entire time. His favorite was telling Swiper "no swiping!!". Afterwards he asked if we could go again. I think the one price for seating is a bit high for children ($37) and the merchandise is definitely overpriced ($15 for a small stuffy and $30 for a small backpack). I'm sure they could mark the merchandise down some and still make a ton. I'm grateful I only had one child.

    Dora the Explorer

by Nanalee on 2013-10-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Obviously young children enjoyed this show but from an adult point of view I was disappointed. The show lasted 90 minutes and there was a 20 minute interval within the 90 minutes. I expected a little more show for my money.

    Not worth the money

by Vinniesmom on 2013-10-27Bell Performing Arts Centre - Surrey

The show was to be expected. The quality of entertainment was decent but the price was ridiculous. For my 2 year old and myself was almost $75. No way was it worth that kind of money. The show is only a little over an hour, but they had half hour intermission halfway through which was both unnecessary and way too long. My son asked to leave half way through because it was too loud.

    Dora a hit

by CandaceW on 2013-10-27Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

My Daughter thought Dora was fantastic. Lots of crowd participation and all our favourite songs. The length of time was good too, not too long, not too short. Only thing I would add is that you could see the actors puppet from the side lines often. I don't mind this kind of thing if its presented as being part of the show but they were trying to hide and so it looked a bit amateur. Like a poorly done puppet show rather than theatre. ..... All in all, a good show!

This show was extremely interactive, therefore kept my 3 year old grand daughter engaged and entertained from beginning to end. The pre-party was well organized and fun for the children. I also loved that cameras were welcome....nice touch for parents and grand parents!!

by KidlovedDora on 2013-10-23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Dora was a great show and my 3 year old loved it. Very entertaining and interactive. I was very pleased with the set up. Although the venue was packed the lines were quick moving and everything was easy to access and find. I would take my dancing, clapping, singing little one to this again.
