    Dora the Explorer - delivered!

by RBauhuis on 2013-10-23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

DtE had all the elements of a great show. Songs known by heart and the supporting cast (map, backpack, etc.) that makes it, well, a-DORA-ble (hahaha). Throw in Diego and well it made my kids day! If there is a nit pick its that Dora's eyes looked red -adding a cynical chuckle of her being "blasted" on stage. ROCK ON Calgary! Kids didn't notice or care... Overall a very good show.

    Dora was great!

by Missmackay on 2013-10-23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We had a blast at Dora. The seats were great and meeting Dora was great but the VIP could have been a lot better for the amount of money spent to have VIP. Would have been nice that they took a family picture and printed it out for you. It would have been really good if the other cast members ...Boots, Benny, Isla, to be at the VIP also.

    Dora was great

My grand daughter was thrilled with the show. Very well done. she danced and sang and kept trying to get Dora and Boots attention. She had great fun! Souvenirs were quite pricey though. They sure know now to gouge a parent/grandparent. We can't say no to the kids and they know it!

    Wonderful Show for Children

by UncleP on 2013-10-23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

This was the first time I attended a children's show. It was very interactive and great to see all the children in attendance participating. The story line was easy to follow. Great surprise appearance of Dora's cousin Diego. This was a hit with my friend and her daughter.

    MAGICAL EXPEREINCE!

by THETOTALGUY on 2013-10-22Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

My 3 yr old niece was mesmerized by the whole performance. She had never been to a live show like this and Dora and her friends are seriously my niece’s idols.. It was amazing to watch my niece jump, dance and sing along with so much enthusiasm. Probably the biggest thing to ever happen to her in 3 years.. Haha! Was Awesome! (Only Suggestion, it would have been nice for the Characters to come down into the Audience). Nice to have been a part of this joy with her. Go Dora!!

My daughter and nephew had so much fun at Dora the Explorer play! It was our first time watching something like that and it was great to see how the children enjoyed it and interacted with the characters on stage! We had great seats and the time of the play was reasonable for the kids! Loved everything about the show!

    Dora was alright

by Tarasunshine on 2013-10-18Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

There were not enough props on stage but rather a big screen. My children ages 2 1/2 and 4 kept saying they couldn't see the tv (when people where in front of them). . Possibly the characters could have walked in the aisle once for children to see they were not watching tv. I was disappointed that the Deigo costume did not fit the actor properly and his legs were all wrinkly. My daughter was very excited to see Baby Jaguar and it was disappointing that he was just a stuffed animal. I would have enjoyed a lot more lights and effects for the children to enjoy. There were times the stage was way too dark to actually see well (ie on the boat). As well people could be seen coming out to get backpack and pull him off the stage. This should have been done with ropes

    Great for preschool aged kids!

by Sarah08 on 2013-10-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

My 3 year old loved this show. She followed the entire story and was able to re-tell it later! The show is definitely designed with young children in mind and encourages audience participation (much like the Dora cartoon) which was great at keeping the kids engaged.

My 2 year old grandaughter loved the show :)

by magga on 2013-10-16Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

great show for little ones! It totally held her attention the whole time. My only negative was a intermission that was far too long for the age of the audience. There was plenty of time to buy tshirts before and after the show.

Dora the Explorer Live! was wonderful!!!

by FamiliaS on 2013-10-16Bell Performing Arts Centre - Surrey

We really loved this Dora live show of the "Search for the City of Lost Toys"!!! We all had a great time as a family and would totally go again!! Our daughter is just two and she had a blast! We really enjoyed the costumes, the use of the real characters' voices from the show, and the story. We also loved that Diego, Baby Jaguar, Roberto the robot, Azul the train, and all of Dora's friends made appearances. I just wish they had Diego and Jaguar stuffed toys (from Ty) for sale too, just like they did for Swiper, Dora and Boots. We would definitely go to this show again!

Fun for kids but not for babies

by Vosje on 2013-10-16Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

My 4 year old had so much fun, she was just in awe! It was a very special day for her. BUT don't bring any babies to this show, or actually to this theater, as they charges little babies full price!!! crazy....
