The K-pop revolution has taken over.
K-pop girl group Dreamcatcher are known for their unique style that blends rock music with slick choreography and horror-themed visuals. Formed as MINX in 2015, the seven-member South Korean troupe has gained a global following for their rock style, a rarity in the mainstream Korean music scene.
In a music scene dominated by R&B, rap and hip hop, Dreamcatcher's choice to focus on rock puts them on a less-traveled road. Even within K-pop, rock is mainly relegated to side experiments, with metal considered an underground genre.
With K-pop being such a massively saturated market, the group needed something that set them apart. Their sound, horror-inspired storyline concept about girls reborn as nightmares and music videos are part of a larger story that continues to develop with each new release, leaving fans begging for more.
That unique spark caught the attention of many curious people who wanted to see what this K-pop/rock mash-up was all about.
Combine that with their aggressive choreography and bold sound, and you'll understand why their fanbase is so dedicated. The group even gave their loyal followers a memorable name: InSomnia. It comes from the Latin "in somnia," which means "in dreams" -- a nod to the group's association with nightmares.
Since their debut, the girl group with members JiU, Siyeon, Handong, Dami, Yoohyeon, Gahyeon, and SuA has attracted more and more curious onlookers to their disruptive sound. In 2022, the group released their studio album Apocalypse: Save Us and immediately saw the album soar to No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in 20 regions across the globe, including the United States.
While the group has gone on to include hip-hop, EDM and other music genres in their music, the heart of their sound will always be rock. They're sure to entertain people from all corners of life.

This was the second concert I ever went to and I loved it so much! The energy was great and it was such an amazing experience watching Dreamcatcher preform live for the first time. Really hope they come back to Toronto and I canât wait until I hopefully see them again! The only problem was with the merch table as there was only 1 with just three workers. I sadly didnât end up getting anything because the line was too long. Other than that it was definitely a memorable experience that I will cherish forever!
i had so much fun!! the dreamcatcher members are incredibly talented and the performances were amazing
The concert was amazing. The venu staff could have provided more accurate details or instructions, on the day, while concert goers were waiting for the show to start.
The Dreamcatcher Bon Voyage Concert was a fantastic event! Taking place at Meridan Hall made perfect sense - easy to access by TTC with polite and pleasant staff. The venue itself is ideal for concerts - holding about 3000+ seats, there are no pillars to block anyone's view so all seats provide a good vantage point of the stage. Venue was clean and there were plenty of staff around to help patrons locate their seats. Perhaps the only downfall was that the merchandise for purchase was located in the lower level - signage was not evident for this and staff had to repeat this information on the PA system. This led to a bit of confusion and long lineups. Other than that, the venue was great. Dreamcatcher - an iconic K POP girl group gave it their all throughout the entire night. The performance started promptly at 7:30pm and ended just before 10pm. They sang their signature hits (Bon Voyage, Maison, Boca, and so many more), danced full choreography throughout the night - there were no shortcuts here! Performances were all backed by vibrant projections on the screen - you really felt like you were inside a music video. Best of all, they really engaged their fans and you can tell they were happy to be here. They sang and danced their hearts out throughout the night and shared fun moments during the 'ments' portions of their show. You know how well a group is loved when you see how involved everyone was during the encore performance - I think they almost blew the roof off Meridian Hall! You know a concert is good when you have concert withdrawal the next day and I had that in spades. If you get the opportunity to go to a Dreamcatcher concert - do it!
The show was amazing and awesome. She had an amazing time and I filmed everything for her. See got to see them with her eagle LASIK eyes while I used my iPhone 13 PM to zoom into their pores. she was grateful to breath the same air as Dreamcatchers. Our only negatives is that one Girl who screamed and interrupted the Group and how everyone had to stand when the Theatre is designed in a slant angle to allow an unobstructed view. But oh well I guess kpop fans never learn. Once I transferred the videos to a google drive. She broke with me. Totally understandable. Dreamcatchers were that amazing.
Had an amazing time only downside was the mercy booth was closed an hour before concert and the line up after was all Over the place so could get any
I had a great time at the show. The staff was kind, the event was organized well, and the wait time wasnât long at all! Tickets were a good price. An amazing experience all around.

I went to the 2023 world tour concert in Toronto, it was more than I could have asked for. If I could I would totally go again!
Went to the REASON tour in NYC, by far my favorite concert experience. 100/10 would recommend
