The K-pop revolution has taken over.
K-pop girl group Dreamcatcher are known for their unique style that blends rock music with slick choreography and horror-themed visuals. Formed as MINX in 2015, the seven-member South Korean troupe has gained a global following for their rock style, a rarity in the mainstream Korean music scene.
In a music scene dominated by R&B, rap and hip hop, Dreamcatcher's choice to focus on rock puts them on a less-traveled road. Even within K-pop, rock is mainly relegated to side experiments, with metal considered an underground genre.
With K-pop being such a massively saturated market, the group needed something that set them apart. Their sound, horror-inspired storyline concept about girls reborn as nightmares and music videos are part of a larger story that continues to develop with each new release, leaving fans begging for more.
That unique spark caught the attention of many curious people who wanted to see what this K-pop/rock mash-up was all about.
Combine that with their aggressive choreography and bold sound, and you'll understand why their fanbase is so dedicated. The group even gave their loyal followers a memorable name: InSomnia. It comes from the Latin "in somnia," which means "in dreams" -- a nod to the group's association with nightmares.
Since their debut, the girl group with members JiU, Siyeon, Handong, Dami, Yoohyeon, Gahyeon, and SuA has attracted more and more curious onlookers to their disruptive sound. In 2022, the group released their studio album Apocalypse: Save Us and immediately saw the album soar to No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in 20 regions across the globe, including the United States.
While the group has gone on to include hip-hop, EDM and other music genres in their music, the heart of their sound will always be rock. They're sure to entertain people from all corners of life.

My first time seeing Dreamcatcher and it was great! It was great to be with so many excited and happy people!
This is my favourite concert yet tied with seventeen (kpop boy group). It was so hype and I sung my heart out. The girls were amazing. Iām so glad I was able to see them in my life time. Iāve been listening to them since their debut Iāve been to the following concerts: - seventeen - twice - laufey - keshi - conan grey x bulow - beabadoobee -
I definitely recommend seeing Dreamcatcher! Had an amazing experience and all members are super beautiful in real life!! š„° Hope they return to Canada again sometime! š¤
So happy that Dreamcatcher finally visited Canada!!! The performance and show was great, the members had a bunch of energy, it was so cool seeing the sea of lightsticks (plus the venue controlling them all to make the same colour patterns). The setlist of songs was great too and I got to hear most all I wanted! The venue (Meridian Hall) was a comfortable temperature and had good views of the stage even farther back. Only sad thing was that the line for the merch stand was sooooo long (but that didnāt have an impact on the show itself).
Literally amazing!! The visuals, the vocals & just everything was sooo good!! The venue was nice as well & the sound quality was great!! I hope I can see Dreamcatcher again in concert I need to experience that again at least one more time in my life!
A great show, lots of songs were performed and the talk segments were great. The bass was booming above my head all night. I hope they will come back for another concert.
I was waiting years for them to finally come to Toronto and they did not disappoint! Their singing and energy were up there with other concerts I have been too. Can't wait for them to come back.
THE BEST CONCERT GOING EXPERIENCE EVER FOR SOMEONE WHO LOVES KPOP THE HYPE IS REAL IT CARRIES ON FOR DAYS
