About

Dua Lipa is a pop singer from London, England. The Albanian-English songstress released her self-titled debut album, Dua Lipa, in 2017. The studio set contained breakout singles like “New Rules” and “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” and quickly established Lipa as a rising star on both sides of the Atlantic. The singer’s 2020 follow-up, Future Nostalgia, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200; was her first album to reach No. 1 in her native U.K. and spawned Top 10 singles “Don’t Start Now” and “Levitating” before earning Lipa her third Grammy Award (for Best Pop Vocal Album). Following successful collaborations with Elton John (“Cold Heart [Pnau Remix]”) and Megan Thee Stallion (“Sweetest Pie”) as well as a Grammy-nominated single from the Barbie soundtrack (“Dance the Night”), Lipa released her third LP, Radical Optimism, in 2024.

Felt like a “press play” perfomance. No interaction with the crowed. Much left to be desired…disappointing…I really love her songs, her views, podcast… but was not impressed with the concert 😞

Great light show, choreography and sound and night. Im in awe of the effort she put in. Just amazing.

  • Like listening on the radio

by CM on 2022-08-06Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 2 out of 5

I am giving her 2 stars because it was an awesome party: The lights, the scenography, the dancers, the choreography. However it was like playing her music on spotify: no improvisation, no covers, no solo, no a capella. A lot of lip syncing and playbacks.

  • AMAZING!!! Ended with a bang, literally.

This was well worth the wait when concert was rescheduled from February. This was my daughters first concert and Dua Lipa is her favourite artist. Amazing performance and energy was sensationally. Crazy end with the fireworks as my daughter did get a minor burn and thankfully nothing worse. She said that didn’t spoil her night.

  • Amazing concert

Great concert. One of the best I’ve ever attended.

  • Great experience but

by Amber on 2022-08-02Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

the event was super fun and organized,. But, the security was a joke. People were being stopped from bringing food, but folks with vapes and fireworks were allowed in. There was ample time left before the show began and they could have spent some time in checking the bags and pockets properly instead of rushing everyone.

  • Great show!

The concert was great, the energy, the lighting, the dancers. Dua Lipa was amazing! Really happy with my evening!

  • best night of my life!

by jenna on 2022-08-01Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

If i could give this event more than 5 stars, i would. this was my first concert and we splurged for the early entry vip package. our tickets were for the floor so we had no seats. some people complained about standing for hours (before the concert) but once dua lipa came out, we all forgot about how tired we were. she definitely created the best and most fun environment possible. she was very sweet to her fans which was also lovely to see. i cant wait for her next tour to get the same tickets!!

  • The best night of 2022

by Rob Ako on 2022-08-01Rating: 5 out of 5

It was an experience I will never forget! The dancers were great, all of my favourite songs were sang, and Dua did an AMAZING job. Her singing was always on point and her dances were always entertaining. Plus all of her merch was very creative and something I can always wear with a smile!!

Dua is special, as in I have seen her in Meditation after my master's oft-mentioned greatest prayer known as Sayyid ad-Dua (The Greatest Wish). Prima Facie She is the Goddess Of Wishes absolute in my Universe: #200190. She is known in Christian tradition as The Last Tribulation

  • 7/10

by Harpal on 2022-07-31Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

She started promptly at 9 pm but then finished at 10:30 pm. It felt like the shortest concert I had been too. I would have liked more put into production. Her dancers were ok. They didn't wow me. Dua's voice sounded great though. It just felt like something was missing.

  • Perfect night

I went with my daughter and we love it…. Dua lipa is fantastic

  • Awesome show, but unsafe

by Dan on 2022-07-31Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Show was amazing, however, security failing allowing someone walking in with fireworks that were deployed at the end of the concert is unacceptable. It could have turned into a chaos and people getting badly hurt. To now, I’m not sure if it was part of the concert or not, and I doubt that it would have been. Anyway, very unsafe and disappointing

  • She's AMAZING

by Fiza on 2022-07-31Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Literally can't shut up about how good she was live. Loved her already but seeing her live, I'm OBSESSED

  • Dua Lipa was incredible!!

by Alexis on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

She is a great performer. The energy of the show was fantastic, the crowd was so excited to see her especially since we had to wait an extra couple months due to covid. My seats were great i was in the area of 107 and you could definitely see her. The only negative feedback i have is to have much more secure, inspections when people enter the arena. We did have an incident where someone snuck in fireworks. Luckily they were not huge fireworks, it could have been much worse but still some people were harmed. More security needs to be taken seriously. I admire Dua Lipa and I cannot image how confused she must have been. She will now have this upsetting memory of Toronto and its people. Do better Scotiabank I want Dua in Toronto every chance we get!

  • Well worth the wait!

by Becky on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Dua Lipa is one of the best performers I have ever seen. Her level of energy is something you don’t see too often now. I was very glad to see she performed some of the duets she’s done with other singers. Made the evening special. One issue I had was that she had two opening acts and didn’t get on stage herself till 9pm. (But she was on time!) I think one opening act would have sufficed. Also, the security personnel didn’t do their jobs well as someone snuck fireworks into the arena and set them off at the end of the concert. It was worrisome.

  • Amazing

Everything was perfect. Expect the fire shots in the end

  • Amazing experience!

by Emily on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Dua Lipa’s concert felt like being in a club, it was so fun

  • Safety first!

    by M on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Security should be more cautious due to fireworks brought inside the arena.
