RAYE on Tour

Rising UK artist RAYE is not a polite pop star. If it happened, she'll write a song about it, and nothing's off limits. Her music is fun and dance-worthy, but cathartic in its subject matter. She deftly blends blues, R&B, trip-hop and pop sounds with lyrics written straight from the heart and experience.

RAYE has written songs for artists like Beyoncé, John Legend, Little Mix and David Guetta, but gained notoriety as a performer after being featured on several UK Top 20 hits, including "By Your Side" with Jonas Blue, "You Don't Know Me" with Jax Jones, "Secrets" by Regard, and "Bed" with Joel Corry and David Guetta. In 2017, "Decline," featuring Mr. Eazi, was her first UK Top 20 hit.

In 2019, she was honored with BMI's Impact Award for her creativity and impact on the music industry. In 2020 she released the EP Euphoric Sad Songs featuring the UK Top Ten single "Secrets."

On her debut album, My 21st Century Blues, RAYE offers brutal honesty on songs like "Ice Cream Man," which details a personal tale of sexual abuse. She also addresses an eating disorder in the song "Body Dysmorphia," and addiction in the song "Mary Jane." My 21st Century Blues garnered widespread critical acclaim, and peaked at No. 58 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

RAYE played her first major live shows in Europe and North America in 2022, and embarked on her first headlining tour in 2023. She has also opened for acts like Lewis Capaldi, Halsey, Khalid and Years & Years.

RAYE Live in Concert

Rachel Agatha Keen, known professionally as RAYE, was born on October 24, 1997. She was born and raised in the Tooting section of London before moving to Croydon. She started her music career young, guided by her father, who was the musical director at a church. She enrolled in the prestigious BRIT School in 2012, and while she dropped out after a few years, she continued to work on her music and released her debut EP Welcome to the Winter in 2014.

A standout from the EP titled "Hotbox" got attention, and a meeting was arranged with Polydor Records. RAYE parted ways with Polydor in 2021, citing frustrations with the label over their refusal to release her debut album. In 2023, the singer-songwriter made her U.S. network TV debut with a performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and began touring for the first time as a headlining act.

I went to Raye in Vancouver and bought the M&G ticket and let me tell you, I have never felt so close to an artist in my life! The meet and greet itself was so lovely, she is such a kind and gentle person that she made the experience feel very intimate. As for the concert, she is such an AMAZING performer!!!! Her vocals are insane and her band was killer as well. She made sure to interact with her audience which really made the experience feel more special! Would highly recommend and go again !!!!

    RAYE in Vancouver

by RD on 2023-11-03Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

What a talent. What a genuine human. This was the best show I've been to since 2019. She was engaging and the energy in the room was electric, despite the over-indulgers that passed out in the crowd and interrupted the show a couple times. I'll be happy to say I got to see RAYE at the Commodore before she became a huge star.

    Real Music is Back

    by Sam on 2023-11-02

Did the M&G which was a once in a lifetime experience, she’s an absolute sweetheart and deserves all the praise and success. As for the concert, what a treat, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen an artist that is so engaged with their audience and made the experience so much fun! She’s truly so talented especially with the over-saturation in the music industry these days she’s quite literally a breath of fresh air.

    A true professional

    by Lala on 2023-11-01

Last night in Vancouver, several people went down in the crowd during the show and RAYE handled it with grace and class, at two points stopping the show and once asking security to provide everyone who needed it with water. On top of that, she showed up with her full heart and vulnerability and connected with the crowd on such a deep level by the end. Of course, her vocals were out of this universe excellent. What a class act.

    My favourite singer!

by RM on 2023-10-10MTELUS - Montreal

Absolutely (no pun intended) LOVED watching Raye and hearing her sister, Absolutely, for the first time! I went to the concert by myself since i dont know anyone else who listens to Raye (she's so underrated) so I was nervous at first being alone, but I had an amazing experience in the end. Venue and staff were great on my end. Was lucky to be on the first row of the balcony and got an amazing view. Her band and the lighting design were also incredible. I hope she comes back to Montreal!
