    Duran squared

by EDMR on 2011-10-29Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I love Duran Duran... but the 80s version. Half the music they played we did not know, likely because they're pushing their new album. You can see the crowd bored with the unknown songs, and everyone's on their feet when Rio, Hungry Like a Wolf, Notorious, Wildboys, etc came on. I say, we pay to hear the music that takes us back to the time when they were at the top of their game. Not to hear music that means nothing to me.

The 80's live on with DD

by TM1969 on 2011-10-29Air Canada Centre - Toronto

It's hard to believe that 33 years from their formation, Duran Duran are still able to put on an incredible show. Decade after decade, they have reinvented themselves and remained relevant for both long-time fans and newcomers. Excellent show lads...

Reflexes a bit slower but still amazing!

by arobic on 2011-10-29Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I have seen these guys 4 times in past 15 years and would say they sound as great as ever but their stage presence has diminished a bit. The production itself was a bit basic and the guys seemed a bit sluggish (despite it being Simon's birthday). Simon's vocals take you back to the early eighties instantly with highlights being Reflex, WildBoys and Rio.

    Still love Duran Duran!!!

by Anonymous on 2011-10-29Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Loved the show! The guys were great as always. Just a little disappointed with the playlist> "Girls On Film" & "Save a Prayer" were missed! Also "New Moon on Monday" or "Union of the Snake" would have been nice :-)!!

    Duran Duran @ the ACC

by Anonymous on 2011-10-29Air Canada Centre - Toronto

It was a fantastic concert. Made even more special by celebrating Simon's birthday with him. It was a great surprise to have our seats upgraded to 100s from the 300s.

    Duran Duran was average

by IQTWO on 2011-10-29Air Canada Centre - Toronto

We found the concert to be very average. The first half of the show was songs from their new album as well as some of their lesser known songs. The second half was much better with many of their older songs and energy that I expected. Our seats were not the greatest and echos tended to distort things.

    Duran Duran still has it!!!

by ODog on 2011-10-29Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Loved it. The theatre seating was great, not a bad seat in the house. Simon's voice is still spot on. All the guys seemed like they were having a good time up there on stage and they don't take themselves too seriously. The show was a lot of fun. Great night out. Go see them if you get the chance.

This was a great show. They hardly took any breaks and it was non stop singing and entertainment the whole way through. Simon was amazing and it was great to celebrate his birthday too! The seats we had were awesome....and the crowd there was even better! Definitely would go see them in concert again :)

Amazing show - they still got it! It got off to a slower start, but once they started playing their older hits, the entire crowd got hyped up. Fun night, fun crowd, Duran Duran knows how to put on a show and you can tell they know how to have fun. They pulled up a total of 3 people throughout the show - interactive. Simon Le Bon obviously has an amazing voice, even at 53.

    Duran Duran did not dissapoint!

by Jackamia on 2011-10-25The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The show this past Saturday with Duran Duran was amazing. They were yes promoting a new album which I had only listened to once, but they did not dissapoint this 37 year old with all my favourites. I had dragged my poor husband along and he watched me dance the night away! I loved wild boys, notorious, and come undone. And they played view to a kill-awesome,my only complaint would be that the reflex could have been more than it was. Louder, and more action I guess. Seeing the band for the first time ever in such a small venue,(we had row 16) and so close was a pre tenns dream come true!! Simon has aged very well!! and John Taylor is still cute!

    Duran Duran improve with time!!!

by cairnsey on 2011-10-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Amazing show!!!! Nice mix of new songs (maybe 5/6) scattered thruout the show and a ton of hits!!!!! The new songs were very good and the band were good about mixing them in between oldies...they did not bog you down with a stream of new songs in a row.....saw Huey Lewis earlier this summer and he played at least a dozen new songs and completely lost the crowd. Duran Duran held the crowd the entire show...they played 2 hours and Simon LeBon's voice is very strong...he hit all the high notes. By the end of the show, every single person was on their feet singing and dancing.... Great night!!!!!!!!

Should of stuck to the classics!

by BigMoe120 on 2011-10-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The concert could be summed up simply - Their new stuff sucked! When they played their classics it was a party! These old bands keep making the mistake of thinking their relevant in todays music industry. Stick to the classics! Thats what we want to hear! I am glad I didnt pay top dollar for the better seats as it wouldnt have been worth it!

    duran duran sounded great

by panama4 on 2011-10-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Simon le bon voice sounds just as good now as it did in the 80's. The whole band for that matter. I loved the base riffs. Too many ugly women though lol
