Daniel's voice is incredible. He sounded amazing live-notably when he hit those high notes! He engaged with the crowd throughout the entire performance and this was not an easy feat; much of the crowd seemed to be out of their element that night for some reason. Doors opened at 8 and DVSN didn't come out until 9:40, so perhaps the wait contributed. Regardless to say, I feel more appreciation and support could've been shown for the Artist. As for the venue, the Orpheum was a great place to have the concert at. It's quite extraordinary! And in true Canadian form, Daniel was kind enough to invite everyone to come closer to the stage at the beginning of the show. I thought that was pretty cool! From the things he said and his interactions with the fans, he seemed quite humble, which was really nice to see. Overall, I really enjoyed the show. I heard most of the songs I wanted to hear(although I wish he sang all of Last Time, not just the first verse, as it's my favourite). The one critique I have is that, often times the music overpowered his voice. We heard people sitting behind us say the same thing. That was a bit unfortunate because his voice is beautiful. Anyway, thanks for bringing that old skool R&B back and for sharing it with us here in Vancity! We appreciate you <3

I’ve been a huge fan of DVSN since the Sept. 5th album and have followed and listened since then. I was so happy that he sang a lot of tracks from his first album and each song was a banger!!! The atmosphere in the theatre really added to the overall ambiance and it was amazing. I’m still thinking about the concert and it’s been a few days now! Love me some DVSN!!!

I loved every minute of the show. He brought great energy and his voice is unreal and what R&B hasn’t had in a while. I would go back to another show if I had the opportunity.

Amazing show, no complaints when it comes to the music/performance. The venue was trash. If you did not get a front row seat, you might as well watch the show on YouTube. Felt bad for the people in the back. They should have had mini ramps for the vehicles so everyone could enjoy the show or maybe raise the stage more so no one is blocking the view.

Daniel Daley is one of the greatest male singers out at the moment. His voice paired with Nineteen85's smooth productions is amazing. The live songs sound just as good as the audio. Don't get me started on the 3 piece female choir. I need them to release a compilation album of 90s/00s r&b. They deserve all the success they're getting

The energy given by the lead singer was great. He sounds like the album. The production was very good and met my expectations. The background singers were very good and held it down nicely. They have a good following, and it was evident which helped Daniel perform well I felt. I would recommend them to anyone interested in seeing them perform. They started fairly late, and the DJ Jester did a good job of keeping the crowd hyped with the song choices. There were no seats given.

waiting in the cold weather was worth to hear DVSN perform live. His voice is one of the greatest I've ever heard, I'd do anything to hear him sing live again.

He sounds exactly like how he does on records, it's so much more amazing to hear in person! If you love their tracks make sure to make it to a live show!
