  • Eagles of Death Metal were great!

by EODMGUY on 2009-08-04Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Great openers (Flash Lightnin' I think they were called). They were from Toronto, and they were a good choice to warm up the crowd. Eagles of Death Metal put on a fantastic and entertaining show. I'd see them again for their next tour!

I saw the Eagles of Death Metal at the Captial City Music Hall on Friday, July 31, and man, did they rock! I was even impressed by the opener. Place needs air conditioning. Bad.

  • Eagles of Death Metal was AMAZING

by Fishhead on 2009-08-03Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

These guys put on an excellent performance, they are the real deal. They've got real rock and roll, they are high voltage. EODM kick butt, they need to do more shows in Toronto, the Kool Haus was a good venue, very comfortable, close to the action and you can enjoy a cold beer.

  • Eagles Rock The Kool Haus

Flash lightnin opened and was stellar! Eagles were amazing! Couldn't have been better.

  • EODM know how to rock

by Rhys on 2009-08-03Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Boots always knows how to work a crowd. He even brought up members of his family, Cocoa Bubbles and Cherry Cola, to party on stage. The encore was fun with a bit of a twist, and everybody had fun. Oh and, nice work on the guest drummer. :) I was impressed with how well EODM incorporated Canadian content into their show; Canadian drum tech, Canadian stage hand, Canadian sound crew. Well done, Yanks.

  • EODM rock the capital

by chucky1234 on 2009-08-03THE NEW CAPITAL MUSIC HALL - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Jesse Hughes and his bandmates were at their energetic best, playing songs from each of their three studio albums to the delight of the approximately 500 fans in attendance.

  • Eagles of Death Metal rock!!

I have been to a lot of concerts but these guys really know how to put on a show. They were awesome! Great entertainers and great music. Next time they're in town I am definitely going.

  • High Voltage!!!

by jennigrrl on 2009-08-03Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Now that is a rock show! A drummer that could have you ass shakin' on his own, the biggest handed bassist you've ever seen, a guitarist that looks like Bubbles and a front man that makes every one feel like dancin'. You'll believe in rock'n'roll again.

  • Eagles of Death Metal rocked ass!!

by bobbypin on 2009-08-03Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The commodore was an unreal venue for EODM, great sound, great crowd just an awesome time all around, wouldn't have missed it for the world

  • Eagles of Death Metal. Period.

by Seamo on 2009-08-03THE NEW CAPITAL MUSIC HALL - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Unreal opening act with ZZ Top style tunes and inspiration was one of the best trios I've seen in a while and such an entertaining front man... EODM slayed the crowd with their devotion to rock and roll and easily enjoyed themselves as those getting slimed by each other's sweat in the mosh pit. So great to see professionals enjoying themselves like it was their first gig! Tunes are unreal. Dynamic and skill is completely up there. What else would there really be needed for a great rock show from these guys. Only thing missing was Josh Homme though his sidekick Joey Castillo destroyed the drums with hulking tattooed arms. Character city, I won't forget this band of misfit looking doods or this show for a long time! Icing on the cake was the Takin' Care of Business solo encore from Jesse Hughes. Consumate pros, hands down.

  • EODM rocked my world

  • HIgh energy, crazy, awesome

by peroxy on 2009-08-01THE NEW CAPITAL MUSIC HALL - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

A great, high-energy set. The audience and band fed off of eachother, and the result was outstanding! This show blew me away!

  • Elements rocks to Eagles of Death Metal

by AllanRRobb on 2009-07-31Elements Night Club - KitchenerRating: 5 out of 5

The Eagles of Death Metal, recently brought their Heart On tour to Elements Nightclub in Kitchener, Ontario ,Canada. The rocking show sounded great and the club was an excellent venue with nice high celings and the largest spinning disco glitter ball in Canada. When the ball is spinning, its 3D Vertigo inducing and yes...FUN ! If someone hasn't filmed a live DVD at this club, then a great setting is being over looked. Eagles of Death Metal have succeeded in proving to all comers last night that the beating heart of Rock'n'Roll is still alive and well. Though, they all want to be in L.A, they did a great job. As a nod to their environ for the night, the band's front man took the club through a sing along version of Takin' Care of Business, Bachman's classic. EODM are a hybrid cross between the Ramones and the Cars. Last night at Elements, they proved they are all Killer and no Fillers !!

  • Energized!

Sooo much energy and stage presence! Absolutely amazing show, and I have seen quite a few, but I would definitely recommend seeing this band to anyone even remotely into rock music.

Jesse Hughs is a great showman, great encore he played "taking care of business". I'm glad I seen them this time around since I missed their Mod Club performance.
