Ed Kowalczyk Tickets

Although I was skeptical about the show due to the fact that they were in such a small venue as compared to the larger venues they performed at when Live was still together, I was not disappointed at all!! We got there early and got a place right up front, there was not barrier so we were literally right at the stage. Ed was great with the crowd, very charismatic, always smiling and even making conversation and and eye contact with those of us up front. He played a great mix of his new solo stuff as well as all the good favorites from Live....of course saving Lightening Crashes til very last!! He usually had a couple of things to say about each song, why and when it was written, which I really enjoyed as opposed to bands that just blast through their songs with no crowd interaction at all.. After the show he came out and signed CDs, I of course had to get mine signed and even got my picture with him. :) He even complimented on my tattoos, how amazing they were!!! What a highlight of the year for me, definitely one of the best concerts I've attended.

I grew up listening to Live! Ed Kowalczyk's voice is absolutely amazing! He played a great set. It was a mix of new songs off his solo records as well as old hits from Live! The only downside to this even was the openers. The Edmonton Event Centre had some brutal openers that went on and on and on! He didn't actually take the stage until after 11pm. It was still amazing night out and not bad of a price either!

Ed has still got the same powerful voice as 10 years ago!

The sound quality in The Edmonton events center was poor, the drinks were over priced and had to sit through 3 local bands that I wished I had never heard. There was also a very limited amount of stools for seating. Would not attend another event at this venue. Ed was good however. He's a real down to earth guy and connects with the audience. He plays his older hits with live and some of his new solo stuff.
