    Eddie Money was great

by Lavy on 2009-07-14Casino Rama - Orillia

The concert setting was great and i dont think that there is a bad seat in the house.Things started right on time and the music was great. Bus from the motel was a blast because eveyone started signing a song that was playing on the radio. This was excellent considering we were all stangers. It goes to show you the power of music.

    Thoroughly Enjoyable Evening

by EddieMoneyFan on 2009-07-14Casino Rama - Orillia

The concert started right on time, which from my experience, is quite rare. Throughout the concert, Eddie performed all of his big hits, saving "Baby Hold On" for the encore. Between songs, he chatted with the audience and shared several personal anecdotes. It is also apparent that Eddie Money enjoys coming to Canada and appreciates the politeness of the Canadian audience. He also mentioned, of course, that he loves Canadian beer. It's a shame that the concert was not sold out. In fact, there were several empty sections roped off.

Money man puts on great show

    by krischabs1 on 2009-07-14Casino Rama - Orillia

I've waited 30 years to see Eddie Money perform, I was not disappointed. Eddie and the band worked hard and put on a good show. He worked the crowd from start to finish playing all the hits and a few more. Very pleased. Eddie even stayed onstage at the end to sign autographs for the fans.....what more could you want???? Your a class act Money Man. Thanks.

    Eddie Money was awesome.

by Habman on 2009-07-14Casino Rama - Orillia

I thought Eddie was as good as when I saw him back in the 80's. His voice hasn't changed much at all. All in all, a great night of entertainment. Cheers to Eddie.

The Money Man still sounds good!!

by Sammie on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

Eddie Money is now 60, & as he explained on stage, has been in some form of rehab 3 times over the years since he reached his singing peak. To be honest, he looks 60, but his voice surprised me. He doesnt have the complete range he used to, but still sounded amazingly good. He also explained that over the years, he'd sold 37 million albums, & that he should have kept some of that money. (I had 2-5th row flr seats, just to the left of the stage, & only paid $23.00 base rate for each of them.) He certainly doesnt over charge to see him sing his vintage (& some new) stuff...all of which I enjoyed very much. The man put on great concert, I'm so glad I went. I'd recommend him to anyone who grew up listening to his tunes, & definately would go back to see him again!

    Eddie Money

    by buster013 on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

So so, Eddie looked a little out of shape and pretty well out of it. Other than the odd spin manouver it was not vintage Eddie Money. The band was good just needed a little excitement at the front.

    Classic Eddie Performance

by BillyFingers on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

Eddie loves his fans. After his concert was over he stayed behind and signed autographs until the staff at the casino told him that he needed to go. A class act and a great entertainer. Great show Eddie!

by PandaW on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

I was quite surprised by Eddie. I have never been to a concert where the entertainer appreciated the audience so much. I would definitely go to see him again and have recommended others to go as well.

Eddie Money still rocks at 60!

by dymondav on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

At 60 years old many music legends have pack it in. Not Eddie Money. In a rare Canadian appearance at Casino Rama, fans were treated to all his classic hits.

Casino Rama is a great venue for concerts. The concerts are affordable, and there is not a bad seat in the house. This is the second concert I have travelled 6 hours to see, and I will be making the trip more often in the future...Eddie Money Rocks !!!

    energetic

by blank on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

Eddie Money was very energetic and enthusiastic, he got the crowd involved and held our attention throughout the show. He played a good portion of the best of his material. His band was very good also. The show started upbeat and ended the same way. He is a real showman and very entertaining. We also enjoyed his jokes and comments

Eddie Monnie was good, but not great

by Rusty on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

Eddie money has not been a tour in a long time and it shows with his pipes. He makes up for it with charisma and wanting to give a good show. Lucky he has his backup singers to hit those higher notes. Over all, if you like Eddie Money you will still enjoy the show, but the vocals are definately not even close the album.

    Eddie Money

by Kenny on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

I wouldn't call it a "performance" but he did sing all the songs and sang them well..so it was fun to toe-tap along. But no lights or stage show or any exciting overlay...pretty stark with just Eddie and a few players. He walks on stage, waves and starts right into "two tickets". After that it was karaoke night with some unfortunate attempts at humorous banter in betwewen songs but he did sing ALL the hits and covered almost 2 hours and that was what I went for. The price was right for second row tix and hey..who of us can still fit into our acid-wash jeans?!

Eddie can still rock the house!

    by 5dogdad on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

I had never seen Eddie Money live before. I have his greatest hits album and a couple of others. I've enjoyed his music for many years. His voice was still sounding good and his band was great. He had a good time on stage and was shaking hands with his fans. He played a lot of his hits; and some songs that I didn't know but I liked. He played the saxophone on a few songs. He was telling some jokes in between songs; and loved being in Canada playing for his fans. He put on a great show!

    FINALLY A SECOND CHANCE

by REDDOG on 2009-07-13Casino Rama - Orillia

Best value for price seen at casino rama. I go to rama often to see bands perform. I had seen Eddie Money as a warm up band to Carlo's Santana in 1979 = was a good bang for the buck then two. Appeared quite happy to perform and return to Canada and signed many autographs. played all those hits we enjoyed through the eighties.
