We weren't sure what to expect and were absolutely thrilled with the program! Ruben Studdard was great, but it was everything else that made the show. Professionally done, with a heart of gold. Wonderful, inspiring, welcoming. Highly recommended.
This Show was great, we had a group of 6 of us reanging in all ages for 2 to 86. We all enjoyed the performance.
We attended the Saturday matinee of the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree and cannot begin to express how happy we were with the entire production. My wife and I attend 15 to 20 concerts and events annually at the Jubilee Auditorium and this was simply the most lavish event of the year. The volunteers were uniformly enthusiastic, the orchestra was flawless and the songs and song arrangements were of the highest caliber. My only criticism, and it is not related to the quality of the event, is that I did not see the need for the celebrity presence of Ruben Studdard. I have to assume that he was compensated for his presence, and I felt that he was simply the least engaged and enthusiastic person involved in the event. The event did not need star power to be great, and he took stage time away from some of the amazing local talent that this event showcases.
Has become a family event that is anticipated and enjoyed every year.

It was our first time going and we didn't know what to expect. It was awesome! We got into the holiday spirit! We smiled a lot, cried a bit and sang christmas songs. It was very well done. Nice to see such great local talent. Rubben Studdard was equally fantastic!
Most enjoyable! The local talent was outstanding. I believe that it was better than last year I would like to wish Mrs. Fitsovich all the best at beating cancer. Her little boys need her.
We thought the overall show was amazing although the first half seemed slow it ended with a bang. We were moved by the stories of the special guest female singer and thoroughly enjoted the rendition of 12 Days . Well worth every penny.
An amazing event, with unbelievable talent. John Cameron and his crew did a tremendous job in making me be very proud to be an Edmontonian! Thank you and I look forward to next years event.
I have lived in Edmonton for 30 odd years and have never been to this event. So I dragged my daughter with me Friday night not really expecting too much. Well we were completely enchanted with the entire evening. it was absolutely lovely and our flagging Christmas spirit has been completely renewed. I want to thank Bob Cameron and the rest of the crew for producing this show. Visually it was beautiful and the singing brought joy to our hearts.
Simply fantastic & inspirational. The production was flawless. It was my first year attending and it will be a tradition. Can't see how they can top the 2011 Singing Christmas Tree.
Wonderful, will make this an annual event, it really puts you in the Christmas spirit.
