    Singing Christmas Tree

by Murphy54 on 2017-12-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

We have been attending this show for the last ten years at least and it has become a Christmas tradition in our household. It truly is an amazing show. Unfortunately, after attending so often it seems to be getting a little drab. They seem to sing the same songs and do the exact same routines every time as of late. I think it is time for them to change it up - maybe introuce new songs, have a sing-along with the audience, change some of the dance routines.

    Very impressive

by WBDRM on 2017-12-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

This was our first year attending this event and it was much more than we expected. The singing and dancing were incredible. It was professional and entertaining. The best part was it is all local talent. We will definitely attend this performance again. Especially loved how they included so many children in the whole evening.

    Again....Outstanding Production!

by Beejay on 2017-02-06Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

What a terrific way to kickstart our countdown to Christmas. We love the show and look forward to Next season! The countdown is on! Next year we plan to change our seats to the other side. The video camera has made us want to try another spot. We really noticed the volume was really turned up this year. In fact, we did notice other people around us with fingers in their ears.

    The singing Christmas Tree

by Pauley on 2017-01-02Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

While this show is an enjoyable part of the holiday season going only once every few years is more than enough. We would have enjoyed more performances by the tree choir with more traditional songs than by some of the individual performers. We sat right centre and had to contend with the camera boom arm constantly..How very annoying.. We have attended performances at the jubilee on numerous occasions and thankfully one doesn't need to contend with that. One should have been made aware of this camera issue when buying tickets We could have chosen different seats.

Outstanding - 2016 Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree

by CherylinEdmonton on 2016-12-29Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

My son and I attended this year's 47th annual Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree for the fourth year in a row. This was the best show ever! The performers were fabulous, the mix of songs and talent was equally great as was the tree choir. We especially enjoyed the two young performers - amazing talent for such a young age! We really look forward to next year's event. Well done - thank you!

    A Must-See

by ccccf on 2016-12-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Every single song sung was done to the highest level of excellence. In fact I would go even one step farther and say that every aspect of every song was executed to the highest level of excellence - from the lighting, to the staging and dancers to the orchestra and singers

The evening was fantastic, the dancers, the singing, the children, the guest artists, and orchestra. I'm not sure how it can be improved. I plan to be there next year.

    Singing Christmas Tree

by DeeFan on 2016-12-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

This is a great show, but it could be even better. They need to focus on some of the more traditional Christmas music, or at least stick to the classic Christmas carols that we all know - not every carol needs to have a more contemporary feel, people love signing along with songs they know. We live in Canada, do we really need a salsa beat going on while we are trying to sing Hark the Herald Angles ?. Also, let the choir have more of the spotlight - they get drowned out by all of the activity on stage - they are the reason its called the singing Christmas tree - Let them sing !

    Singing Christmsd tree

by Caroler on 2016-12-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Bring back the old fashioned singing of Christmas carols, not the jazzed up versions. Dancers added nothing, Some of the singers had beautiful voices but did not like the arrangements.

    The ESCT was fantastic!!

by bigkid on 2016-12-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

IT was my first time being part of this production - I sang in the SCT choir. The whole production was way more than I'd expected and totally exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very welcoming and it really was like a big family. I'm totally hooked and hope to return year after year to be part of this amazing experience!

What an amazing production! Edmonton is so lucky to have such an enormous amount of local talent. This show could easily be on the stages of Broadway!! Don't miss the opportunity to see it next year.
