    Elliott Brood and Wintersleep

by Spiffy69 on 2012-10-23The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Elliott Brood was a high energy 3 man band that played all the hits. I could easily become an Elliott Brood groupie and join them on the rest of the tour :-).

Elliot Brood amazing Energizer Bunny show

by Randmag on 2011-10-31West End Cultural Centre - Winnipeg

The opening act, One Hundred dollars, set the stage well with great vocals and a solid set but the crowd went wild when Elliot Brood took the stage. It was high energy from the start. As was expected the sound, showmanship, energy and crowd participation was all excellent. The highlight of the night was when someone who was dressed up as the Energizer Bunny hopped onto the stage (on the invite of guitarist Casey Laforet) and managed to bring the crowd to a frenzy with his energizer bunny drum beating perfectly to the song. This show was definitely one of the best I've seen for a long, long time and it will be hard to beat for a long, long time. Lead singer Mark Sasso mentioned on a few occasions how much they appreciated the turnout and his calls for crowd participation were answered wholeheartedly. At one point the crowd was jumping up and down in unison with Mark and just having a blast. The relatively small size of the venue made it intimate plus the bands easiness and sincerity won the crowd from the start. The energy of this show is something I will always remember.

Elliott Brood = So freakin' good.

It was such a great time. Good tunes, awesome show... If they played Portage and Main in February... would definitely risk the frost bite.

    Great Show!

by Aely on 2011-10-31West End Cultural Centre - Winnipeg

This was a really good show! The opening band, One Hundred Dollars was amazing - it's too bad they sold out of their cd's before I could get one. Elliot Brood was really good as well. They played a mix of old and new material, and everyone was really getting into the songs they knew. Definitely recommend seeing this show!

by BandtasticSound on 2011-03-28The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

Best $17.50 I spent! Elliott BROOD is always worth the money, in fact I kind of feel that they're ripping themselves off by only charging $17.50. The band is truly phenomenal. I'd recommend them to everyone!!

    Who is Elliott?

by Scube on 2009-11-03The Opera House - Toronto

Excellent show. Lots of energy. Great crowd. A little loud on the instruments (wanted to hear the instruments a little crisper / softer and get to hear the vocals). Bass pedals were awesome. Dave Hodge has gotta stick to his day job! The Warped 45's were really really good! Loved it!
